024 - Property Lumber Cleanup

There are hundreds of trees that will not survive on our property after the Camp Fire in November of 2018. I was able to connect with a logger who was willing to purchase all of our pine trees. He took trees that the utility company (PG&E) had already dropped near the power lines, as well as dropped about 35 more and removed them from the property. I was able to follow the crew around a little with the drone.

It's a beautiful property. Just have to wait for everything to grow back fresh and new! Gotta see the silver lining!

Why is the logging equipment so 1980's?? Is it bcs of general size of logs in the area they're using skidder and no crane on the truck?

No I’m guessing it’s just cheaper to use old equipment. This logging company is a really small outfit.
