Your help is invaluable mate. The small remaining portion of people still using, or looking for alternatives to what is surely, one of the most meteoric conquests of a new, exciting industry of untold potentials the world has seen. Instead we have an App only interface, closed system, early Apple like, selfy machine.... wtf happened.... They are highly sophisticated plug n play units i’ll give em that. But you get what your given... And you’ll pay for it, and dearly. And should your access to the App not be available, or the App says, “No”, then you cant fly ‘your’ $2000 camera. Gotta say it, this is very easily one of the most helpful blokes (if not ‘the’) for people that are new to Pixhawk and are looking for info, considering purchasing and/or seeking advice for getting up to speed with it. I hope they are looking after you👍🏻. And lets not forget... This Range of FC’s are arguably the best Open Source option for 95% of peoples current needs. And the rate the price starts to jump up to more bespoke and dedicated units for customers requirements is good for a laugh.... 😳 I just hope the 10yr plan of this brand has its finger firmly on the pulse, and stays true to the ethics that have brought it to where we are now.

Good Morning I have a question concerning the cube orange / x7 Taranis q and mission planner I have my x7 taraanis connected to the receiver but when i am connected to mission planner and i am in radio calabration the green areas do not show up on mission planner when i move each knob on the transmitter I am bound to the receiver because when i unplug the receiver from the orange cube it will tell me telemetry lost then when i reconnect it to cube its says restored . So i guess that tell me i am connected and bound but i can't get it to show up on the mission planner when i am connected to the software . and also what about bad channel input 1 i have seen a lot about that can you help me with these questions Thanks
When I go to firmware tab, and try to click on quad, nothing is getting selected. I have switched on the baudrate as 115200 only. What may be the reason. One thing is I just downloaded mission planner latest and installed the same but not drivers yet. But while installing mission planner it showed lot of drivers getting installed with it automatically.
Does the LED ring below the cube on the pixhawk turn off after the firmware is installed? or does it go green?? (my LED turn off for some reason) not sure if thats how it should be...
Hi I used the beta for cube orange hex copter and latest MP. I get hexacopter in connect (com7) in my case. I checked brd_type and it showed cube/pixhawk. does this mean it thinks the cube is black. It did not come up with "is this cube black" when installing firmware. Cheers, John
I'm using pixhawk 2.4.8 not a cube but unfortunately i selected the cubeblack option.it giving me the error of board type. So wt should i do now.wt is the solution

Hello and thanks for posting this video! Question; I own one of the original Pixhawk 2.1 and it has been configured/flying with Copter V3.4. Is it possible/safe to upload my old Parameters from V3.4 after installing the latest firmware? It would be convenient to avoid having to do a whole new initial setup when I can just upload my old parameters. Is it safe doing so considering my old saved parameters were from Copter V3.4?
Don’t upload the whole file you can have scary issues. Import some specific ones but copter will remember the prams when you upgrade as well. With such a jump just restoring the whole pram file will be asking for issues.

Not recommended at this stage to use EK3 unless your craft is spending most of its time vertical. EKF 2 is still the best one today.

Hi I have the pixhawk "2.1" already set up on a 650 quad. Is the procedure for updating the same as you have just shown?

No this is not need to be changed as it’s preset now.

No Orange has a different setup. MP will select the right setup for you on that down worry. It’s only the Black that needed this.

try to force install bootloader firmware, try to use older mission planner and older firmware
