It's wild just how different this system sounds from the mark Levinson. This is good but the premium sound system just blows it out of the water especially with how deep and heavy the bass is. It great to see some updated tech now too it really adds for a better experience.
I recently test drove Kia SX Touring w/ upgraded Harmon Kardon 8 speaker system. This "base" 10 speaker system, and possibly the 6 speaker system on the UX, is better than the "upgraded" Kia system.
As a headphone enthusiasts I test drived the NX350 with 10 speakers and NX350F with 17 speakers, the difference is really not that big. It's around 30% better I guess, but the thing is this system will only occur on the fully-loaded NX350F or NX350 Luxury and they don't take any customized order. That means you will pay an extra 6000 compared to NX350 Premium. Extra 2000 might be a good deal but 6000? I'm out.
Ordered a 350h last week. I would have liked to pay a bit more for the Mark Levinson system but in Canada you can only get it in the top trim, which is $15,500 CAD (~$12,300 USD) more than base or $14,000 over the Premium trim most people buy.

Though you're making me wonder if having fewer speakers means there will be some empty spots where it would be easy to wire up additional speakers. Would potentially have issues with the amp, software, sound stage tuning. Probably not worth it. Maybe in a few years it will be possible to swap in the full Mark Levinson system from a wrecked vehicle.
Appears very similar to the base Pioneer unit in the Lexus ES. What I have noticed (or prefer) is to turn up the High and Mid pretty much all the way up and keep the Bass a few clicks below High/Mid. That sounds the most pleasing. Also, when the car is not moving and the rear windows are down, the sub-woofer has more air to move around and then it just sounds even better. (However, that is useless as why would one listen to their car audio in a stationary car with the windows open !) It is in OK audio system, not the best :)

I did not have enough time to compare details and resolution, but I suspect you can get them to sound pretty close by doing some EQ. It’s shame that I can’t have ML system without real leather in either. (The configuration technically exists on ES but I was told by the dealer that they never really come with any of their allocations). Owners almost universally recommend the nuluxe for their ease of maintenance and close enough if not identical comfort.
Hey man, I have the 17 speaker Mark Levinson NX 2022. Today I went in and I was listening to several tracks, hi-def through Bluetooth on the base 10 speaker pioneer plug in 450. The low's, the base on the Mark Levinson are leaps and bound better. The additional subwoofer, in the 17 speaker system is far superior. I would estimate about 60% better. The overall sound quality is better, Fuller. From the highs to the mids. In my estimation, if the mark Levinson is a grade, then the 10 speaker pioneer base system is C grade, NOT B grade, honestly. At higher volumes, it's honestly a fairly significant difference. Especially if you are enjoying r&b, hip hop, and more modern upbeat music.

The reason I'm asking is because I've owned 2 other Lexus models in the past and both sounded decent and had no ML in them. The base model F-Sport RWD is already around 51k. Other than the LSD in the rear end my other money was spent on every single protection option available for the car. Everything from 3M paint protection on front and rear, Rubber Floor Liners etc.
I can't find all the 10 speakers. On the rear doors, the bottom part seems to be just a port from the rear of the 3-inch driver on the top part. Is there a hidden speaker somewhere?
I’ve read that the Levinson system would zap to much power from the hybrid or plug in hybrid to make it doable. It would be nice to have but, I can live without it for the overall benefits of the plug in hybrid.
With all that I keep hearing about shortage this and shortage that, when do you foresee these beauties hitting the lots in the US? I’ve decided that the 350 NX F Sport will be my next car. Any information will be helpful.

The NX 450 does NOT HAVE ML AUDIO OPTION neither of the 450s. Also the 450 does not allow for pan sunroof option...it also doesn't have digital rearview. Just FYI

Maaan, you guys in the USA are soooo lucky. Here in the UK all we can do is select "surround"!! It is dreadful. All the sound feels like it's coming from the front windshield. You can't move it, you can't change treble / mid / bass. This is in a NX450H+ Takumi. Not a cheap ride My 12 year old ŠKODA system is waaaay better.
The UK NX450h+ comes with the exact same kit as the US ones. Pioneer like this in the Premium and Premium Plus with the Takumi getting the Mark Levinson system. The imfotainment also has the exact same media options including bass, mid and treble……..
Swapped my 2022 NX450h+ Takumi 10 speaker for a 2024 NX 450h + Takumi but with Mark Levenson. The difference is night and day. The 2024 sound is waaaay better with more detail. Still just the surround option 😭 though.

I think this is really amazing in comparison to other base systems. If anything, some branded systems are definitely inferior to this.
