  • Spanish artist Patrik Grijalvo travels the world to photograph both the external structures and the interiors of art museums, mainly designed by renowned contemporary architects such as Zaha Hadid, Rem Koolhaas, David Chipperfield, Amanda Levete, Frank Gehry, Italo Rota or Tadao Andō. He then cuts the analogue images apart and rearranges them into three-dimensional compositions that often make it impossible to identify where the original perspectives were taken. This results in a fascinating fusion of reality and artistic interpretation. His contemporary photographs are characterized by subtle elegance and profound sensuality, transporting the viewer into a world of mystery and reflection.
Solo exhibition "Gravitación visual" on view at our Frankfurt based contemporary art gallery Schlieder Contemporary at Berliner Strasse 32 60311 Frankfurt am Main from June 21 until August 10.
