Why not just make it Cassie cage. A father daughter team-up is so much better than some random variant. Besides, Janet cage would be better as a skin, instead of a Kameo fighter.

The fact that Takeda is releasing last is a big disappointment. Wish characters were releasing as they were shown in the Kombat Pack trailer. Feel like I have to wait an entire year just to play as my main MKX character again😢

I’m sad that we have to wait that long for takeda
So Takeda is the last one to be released in summer of 2024 and probably Kombat Pack 2 or a story DLC announced in fall 2024.
Personally I hope they announce it earlier than that. But at the same time I can see them waiting until they at least announce when Takeda comes out to reveal who is next to be DLC

Maybe they get an alternate skin so you can pick Johnny OR Janet as the kameo, they'd be the same, just look different.

It would be Cool to see Johnny and Janet Cage to see how they're doing to work. Would be even Cooler if we can play as her (seeing that we don't have Sonya as a playable character, which Sucks with a Capital S).

@@kevind3974I see what you mean but, she’s literally just Jonny cage with different moves he can do that just doesn’t have in his actual gameplay. I think it’s a wasted potential for other characters to get a shine and be reimagined for mk1. It’s more smarter to just make her a skin for Jonny despite how much effort it would be to do that. I mean if they could do it for injustice 2 there’s no excuse for them to not be able to do mk1 aswell.

did johnnys variant just stay behind like how many more doubles are wondering around mk1 because they didn't want to go home or got stranded because their titan died. people just staying behind also explains tekada as hes not even born in this verse but he probably came with the combat kids and just got stuck in mk1
also on the point of titans dying like who died. we know shang shung and possible quan xi are truly dead now, but how about the other ones. this was an armagedan battle after all. alot of people died, titans included.
Kameo’s have nothing to do with the story so I’d think she’s dead from falling into the pit

every single cameo that we get rather shows up in the main story or in the arcade endings.
Daruis and seerena for example are main story.
Sujinko and cyrax arcade ending.
The only special cases are scorpion (hanzo) whos from the invasion storyline and striker wich doesn’t have a full reason for being there but I’m prity sure its going to be revieled was hired by johnny to be the movies security as ti line doesn’t understand the requirements.
Every single cameo dos make cameos in the game. There not just there as cameos. as weird as that sounds.

Putting a fighter in as a Kameo slot is a waste of a slot. Same goes for putting a kameo in as main fighter, it just wastes those slots for better characters.

Seems they delayed the fighters. From what I remember was that Homelander was supposed to be the final release of kombat pack 1 somewhere in spring 2024 and now thats Takeda in summer 2024. Im fine with the changes though if it means a better launch of the characters.

Hey so I Purchased The DLC Packs & It Still showing that it locked can anyone help?
Like this message if the amount of time we have to wait in between characters is way too long! I was expecting all of the characters to come out 2 months after release, not 2 months per individual character. I'll most likely be bored of the game before all of the characters come out. Online is filled with top tier characters and they basically have no first player mode. NRS lacking imo
