Catch and Release has come a long way long time coming, great to see it done properly! This video is a excellent example of catch and release! Thanks old man! O will you all take me ?
Maybe one day I’ll teach you a thing or two
Wow! Beautiful striper! Excellent video!
That was an incredible video! Your passion and dedication to the sport are evident and really comes through. Those stripers you caught are unbelievable! Congrats on an epic adventure. I was blown away!! Definitely one of the best videos you've put together!! Lets' go!!!!!!!
Great fishing bud! I am a short span viewer but I watched your entire video. Thanks
Perfect rod and reel setup for this type of fishing 💪
Never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it. Take good care of those big girls. You have the future of the species in your hands.
Fish of a lifetime brother! Glad you were able to land it.
How deep is the water on that part of the river? Excellent video bro👏
INSANE!!!!!!!!!
Way to go man...persistence pays off.
On the tranx 300!! 😂😂 I use mine for porgies and black seabass. I’ve been underutilizing it for sure lmao.
WOW that is all one can say! Great Vid! Subbed
Awesome video
Yo homie was really trying to let your fish get away 😂😂
Good old Susquie
small bass fight harder than the big boys i swear
What state is this? Nice fish man!
The primary catch in this location was caught near “Snake Island” at coordinates: (39.6073320, -76.1355073) [N, W] but the route spans from Havre de Grave lighthouse to Conowingo Park on the Susquehanna River in MD.
@@MTDion Very cool, thanks for sharing!
Think about how much easier it would be to catch a world record class fish on a fly rod in this type of water versus open ocean. I wonder if anyone has really tried?
Nice fish! These clowns in the comments are hating because they fish this area and cant catch 💩🤣
I’ve caught hundreds of these cows here long before this dip shit showed up.
@@SwampDonkey07aww yay i’m proud of you
actually they know that anyone could catch here, and dont like to see it blasted online knowing it will just be more crowded in the future. vids like this are what gives fishing youtubers a bad rap, anyone could make this vid, but they dont because they respect the fish, the location, and the other fishermen. to post this is a dis to all 3
@@ChrisMcIntee exactly. I saw you out there a few years ago and I respect you for not making a video, I actually talked to you on the river for a min when you were on your kayak.
@@SwampDonkey07 boohoo. Im heading there next year. See ya!
Nice fish, get rid of the boga and use your hands, Bogas just hurt the fish anyway.
Try getting a hold of a big stripper by hand in cold water, good luck
One of the most underrated anglers in the industry. Amazing work!
Sheesh these people are getting mad at you for filming a kick ass video (killer edit BTW) that a Florida dude like me gets to watch and experience the beauty of that fishery and landscape that I live nowhere near and may never fish, so for that I thank you 🤘 lol there’s no “secret” spots left in FL and our fisheries are reasonably healthy I think so don’t trip dude. Love your vids and you’re funny as hell when you get stoked on a fish 😂 keep on keepin on
Couldn’t BELIEVE you weren’t a full time RUclipsr from content like this! Keep killing it Bro!
I admire your dedication. You put in the time in tough weather when 99.99% of anglers wouldn’t even go outside let alone go fishing. Keep these kick ass striper videos coming!
Fantastic fishing skills, cousin! It's clear you all know what you're doing out there. Keep up the great work and here's to many more successful fishing trips!
Big strip bass, good job
I'm from Las Vegas and we have striped bass that live in freshwater because of the Hoover Dam. The biggest one I've caught was 15 lbs and they look like babies compared to yours ha ha. Amazing video. It's so cool to see you pull out giant after giant after giant
There were monsters in the Colorado river 30 years ago when I moved there from Calif, specifically to chase them. That was before the 30 year drought. In the mid 1990s Colorado river, mead/ mojave was cranking out 50s I caught many 40+ pounders for about 4 years around Davis dam In Laughlin and Katherine's Landing in Lake Mojave in Bullhead city. After the Huge striper Bite died down in the California lakes like Silverwood and Pyramid around 1993, i followed the bite to Arizona and nevada.. this was the beginning of the AC plug days. Now i moved back to Tennessee chasing the big boys. Best place for a 50- 60 pounder these days. Im working on it
What an incredible video. The time and effort you put into this content reflects the love and passion you have for chasing this species. Keep doing big things!
Wow i am stunned, what a great video. You are the man.
PHENOMENAL FOOTAGE, BATTLES AND CATCHES, AMAZING CONGRATS!!! More importantly is your COMPASSION and EFFORTS for successful RELEASES, WELL DONE brother!!!
Great video Ethan. I watched the video and I still don't know where this specific area is. Don't let these haters get to you. Keep it up brother!
"Dude, please grab the fish! Son of a buck, Graham!" 😂
It’s Snake Island on the Susquehanna
Hey just a quick word might be helpful. I can't really tell, but looks like you're wearing waders in that kayak, with no life jacket. Not trying to be a safety Sally, but pulling in a 50 lb fish. If you tip and fall in that ice cold water, those waders are gonna fill up and pull you under. Are those boot foot or open bottom? Just don't wanna see you drown. Wear a inflatable vest at least..
My uncle was a commercial fisherman I rember he had a rockfish that was so big he had to use a garden hoe to scale it it's scales were the size of a 50 cent piece in the James river it was back in the early 80's crazy big & that one u caught her head was big as a bucket lol nice fish
This was awesome bro. Congrats on the new PB. That's not a cow. It's a dinosaur. Wish I could have fish more this year. This video made it seem like I was there with you. Great edit.
Just so you know you have to fan the tail for the length to count at all. you cant close it. thats coming from a game warden just an fyio but holy hell what a catch
Damn dude I caught a 12 pounder last week in Pennsylvania and it didn't look nothing like those
Jesus bro! Those are some absolute tanks! I hope I can land one in my kayak in a couple of weeks when our season opens up in Canada! Well done, I'm subbed!
Wow, dude I am so happy for you. That was awesome. Great fish, awesome moving video. I was smiling the entire time
Beautiful fish! Congrats on the catch!
You're as crazy as I am, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Great video, awesome catches!
Only a few spots burned to smithereens in this video… typical GoPro fisherman w no respect for the sport lol
Amazing filming and congrats, you are amazing!!!
Our sandbass don't get that big .😂 What a giant!
R.I.P.
Nice fish! what swimbait and jigheads are those?
8” NLBN
Love the video! Where is this at?
amazing...but it doesnt seem you are wearing a lifejacket...am I dreaming? If not, please do so. You are toast if you fall in that ice water. I lost a friend last year in a kayak.
Great fish.. keep it up.
I really enjoyed watching this video. You're using some nice rods and reels. I love the Avid Inshore. What line you using on the spinner ?
Absolute slobs! Great video and editing man. I can only hope to catch some of those up here in MA this season. You did great handling and returning those beautiful fish back quickly too. Keep it up!
I support u bro
Ya boy didn’t want to get his hands wet and cold lmao. That’s why you gotta do it yourself haha. I met all my own fish and I primarily catch these in Jersey form piers. Netting a big fish alone with a pier net… now that’s a ride 😂
Excellent video ... love them Stripes
What state is this in?
Kansas 😂
The primary catch in this location was caught near “Snake Island” at coordinates: (39.6073320, -76.1355073) [N, W].
Wow
That's not the land of the lost a dawm dinosaur glad to see you put their defying the elements and producing trophies like that behemoth .
Cowwwwwwssssss
Slam Mountain!
What line are you using and how much LBS
Awesome vid .. however .. there's always a bigger fish 😊
Striper video I meant. Damn spellcheck😂
Awesome video, where is that place bro??
Fantastic fishing. what river are you fishing?
Hey.....I was wondering what's the brand of your swim jig hooks?
Nlbn jigheads and tails 8 inch
What kind of swim bait are you using and jig head?
8” nlbn
if your catching them that big in april your def in virginia back waters where they spawn
If you’re from Md or Va you know this spot.
Virginia backwaters? What a pathetic attempt to smear this angler with the blatant falsity that he is fishing a spawning area. This is obviously (39.6073320, -76.1355073) [N, W] on the Susquehanna from Havre de Grace to Conowingo Park. Most people know as “matthewlong” pointed out.
Not only was it a giant but it fought like a giant! Congrats!
niiice what size VS is in video 125?
epic video dude!
I wish we had stripers that huge in Sacramento! Monsters! Awesome catch and video! Subscribed!
Dude, you do have stripers like this in Sacramento. Go down to jiboom st. Where the rives meet i street Bridge. Discovery park. Use to fish there in the 1980s, not only are there 50 lb stripers there, there are 50 pound salmon monsters goin up the American river.
@@stripervince1 Sacramento certainly has stripers like this. Just not the numbers but you can catch 30-45lb fish and if you’re really dedicated. Bigger
Awesome video and Awesome catches!!!👍👍
But how much did it weigh
Absolute banger of a vid! So underrated!!
Hobie sponsor this man
jesus.
The Skipper does it again!
One of my dream fish
awesome action 🔥
Wow way to spot burn bud good job. We will see you down there next season buddy
You got stuff like this and people on magazine covers yet they still hate me for posting on my small IG page lol
cry about it
@@happypappy2188 Some people just have a need to hate on everything..post a picture with the background blacked out and they'll still talk lmao its usually the ones who don't catch fish
Waaaaaaaah !!!
Good video
That was awesome
Awesome!
Truly epic
dang!!!!!
Great job! You can tell by all the jealous haters and their crazy comments.
The point is we’ve all been doing this long before this clown and his side show all decided to show up. We just don’t talk about it. Now it’s on the internet for the world to see and it’s ruined. You would never see people out there. Now thanks to social media everyone knows and it’s being exploited for views on the internet
What a name, anyway I posted a longer comment so I won’t copy paste here but the primary catch was at Snake Island at (39.6073320, -76.1355073) [N, W] on the Susquehanna River from Havre de Grace to ~Conowingo Park span.
@@SwampDonkey07 boohoo bigboy.
Dude, everyone of those are pretty close to 50 pounders. You do realize that. This video, is without a doubt the best, big striper video on youtube
Not even close to 60😂
@@manuelmolina1124 not 60 but close to 50...they were monsters. This kid is the real deal.
@@manuelmolina1124 bigger than 50s. All of them
Yeah I meant 50 not 60. typo on this small phone
Insane buddy. Was such a blast to watch
Unreal he’d post this. Striper fishing is absolutely over, wow. Batista initiated the place’s downfall last year, and it cascaded from there. The bass a person would catch used to be a reflection of their perseverance, grit, and knowledge, but now it’s just a reflection of social networks and media presence. With everyone catching trophies, they aren’t trophies. They’ve been relegated to the level of catfish
Exactly what I was thinking absolutely mind boggling how people can do this to their own local fisheries knowing the risk and consequences
@@emretheturk7 bro you would pull up and catch nothing shut up lmao
What is your PO box ill send you some cheese
holy. cry more dude. you wouldnt last a day in Florida
@@trentraymond9622 These guys cant cant fish so they hate on they guys that do 🤡
I am not really sure what value this video returns to our Striped Bass fishery or fellow anglers. Getting folks outside and fired up to fish is fantastic, but what other ways can you inspire this with less impact and cost? You may think "well this area is no secret, it is fine!", however you are missing all the impacts of influenced pressure to those locations (heavier pressure on breeding age fish, tons of trash, congestion on the water body, novice folks doing dangerous stuff without cold water protection...etc etc). You are a great angler, but you need to be in touch with the balance of sharing your message through video entertainment vs a lasting positive impact on the fishing community. When we are gone, there will still be new fishing videos, there will be people catching bigger and more fish....how will you leave your legacy and how do you define impact? Tight lines.
What's the problem? All I watched was someone with a passion for fishing catching big fish? let me guess....you fish at this spot.
dude. this video has 1,400 views, not 14 million. Not everyone lives in Maryland. Relax its not that big of a deal
@@trentraymond9622 For real lol someone from maryland put this man on some spring striped bass before he throws another fit 😂😂
@@zackystickzz44 its not about me, not about a spot, its about fisheries, species, and the joy we all find in fishing. My comment is emphasizing the importance of ensuring we are doing our part to guarantee future generations have the same opportunities that we have. I am not commenting with selfish intent or jealously lol and it truly is an epic video and a great display of fantastic angling, but at the end of the day it definitely comes at a cost. It may not be but a few views now, but thousands later, and maybe millions knowing this guys reputation, but there is 100% a negative cost to this which is difficult to reverse the dial on afterwards. To inspire others to chase their passions and push themselves is fantastic, but there is more than one medium and way to do this.
@@grantd.5438 what exactly is he doing wrong? You follow other fishing RUclipsrs who do the same thing he’s doing. Do you comment the same thing on their videos? He’s practicing catch and release while handling them properly….
