I love your mastery of the hatchet. It has inspired me to improve my hatchet skills beyond delimbing branches. Also, I truly appreciate the way you perform your tasks with unhurried speed, thus allowing the tools to do more work instead of the operator. And your backhand use of your knife is sweet!! Watching now... your bowsaw speed is right on. Wonderful field work and filming. Thank you very, very much.
Amazing the time you spend in your quality carving's. You are a master at such a young age. Ive been a carpenter and contractor for 35 years. Love your videos!
Wow Ryley, I am so proud of you. I remember back in December/January you had 700 subscribers and now over 60k. You are doing a great job out there with only iPhone 6 🙂✌
Thank you so much for supporting the channel! It's really crazy how much it's grown in the past 6 months. It's all thanks to great viewers such as yourself. Take care, Nixon, and happy trails!
I really enjoy your videos. I guess my only criticism would be that I prefer the natural sounds of the surroundings and your work over any sort of music in the background.
Love your videos. Many hours of enjoyment. One item of feedback: I prefer just the natural sounds. Would prefer no music. Thank you, and keep up the great work!
Another great video. I like your approach to crafting and outdoorsmanship in general. Can you shed a bit of info on your saw? I've seen you assemble it and it seems to work super well. I'd like something that can travel compactly. Keep up the good work!

Greetings from Aotearoa, New Zealand, great video, very enjoyable to watch, I also do a lot of hand tool carpentry, I was wondering what sort of hatchet you are using? Doe's the job very well
I do not know the brand or make of this hatchet. I bought it at an antique store for $8. It works very well, I quite like the curved shape of the cutting edge. It's very good for carving. Sorry that I cannot be of more help. I appreciate you tuning in. Thanks. Happy trails!
@@KuskBushcraft well good for you/ Been married 45 yrs myself. Still think she is prettiest thing I ever saw.My heart skips a beat with every smooch. Hope your life together will be just as happy
Reyley, is the log you start out with dry? It seems the legs are dead wood. I guess this isn't greenwood joinery then? But the way you flatten the table top with the axe made me think it is soft from being green. I'm looking for learning more about greenwood joinery.
whoa! i love this! locking dowels 100% well done brother! p.s. i hit your DM on instagram would love to have a quick chat with you if you get the chance! God bless!
Impressed I am, here's me thinking that such skills were dead and forgotten.
Thank you for an interesting video and thank you for using a *quiet* backing track. That was totally awesome.
