I loved this stage and its atmosphere. The high-tech yet dirty polluted feel. Great cyberpunk feeling. It was great on co op with a friend sneaking behind the woman to find the base, such a exciting yet scary feeling not wanting to get caught or lose sight of where to go. Music added a lot to it too.
It was released on PS4, Xbox and PC. But it has a catch. The complete game is in Homefront the Revolution. On the PlayStation and Xbox, you need to play the game for a while before you can find it. On PC, there is a mod that removes Homefront completely, and only Timesplitters 2 remains.@@masontrevelyan2254
My life was so much better when this game came out. I was barely a teenager who had much to look forward to. I had chance to hope for a good life. And instead, I fucking squandered it.
@Shishizurui it was weird that when playing this back in the days i found this the easiest level and my favorite. nowadays when i try it i find it really hard
Why are games like this not made anymore? Kids today seriously have downgraded to dumb beasts. I like games like COD, but goddamn they don't compare to the creativity and originality of games like TS2. So many good memories.
This isn't just a piece of music. It's an entire experience.
Whoever composed this, I want you to know it has stuck with me for 20+ years.
Chap called graeme norgate. Absolute genius
Cross now ... Cross now .. Cross now ..
"Cross now, cross now, cross now"
How Timesplitters never became a massive franchise is beyond me. Someone dropped the ball, horribly.
Because games like cod overshadow it
I just found out that the devs went bust after the third game. That isn't super-unusual but always seems weird when games are this successful.
@@noswal1990I'm surprised someone in their 30s doesn't know cod was no where near the heights it is now during the early noughties.
This game was my childhood, and It Filled my childhood with badass music and epic gameplay.
Its clear music can make a game legendary and this is one of the examples. 1:50 mark gives me chills everytime
Boy is like relaxing on the top of the mountain and see the foggy view as I can imagine it. Anyone Agrees!
I hike to this song
Cross now, cross now, cross now.
So we're finally here...
The soundtrack from this game is superb. This in particular is an outstanding piece of music.
Love the blend of cyberpunk and blade runner music
I agree...that is why I was reminded to come listen to this
NeoTokyo? Why do instantly think of the 1989 Anime Film, Akira. O.o

Absolutely. The Nostalgia from this game is just amazing.
Most beautiful piece in the series, always takes me back to being 2 years old watching my big bro play this with his mates.

Would sit on this level and listen to this song all the time as a kid
+frankinou25300 there are some people working on remaking it for PC. Look up Timesplitters Rewind
Bring relax in tokyo, jeez for these japanese government wanted to make tokyo to big city in the future of 2019. Let see if it's true when I'm 23.
i hope they port it in ps3/ps4 one day .. soo damn great hit
Any news yet 😂

What is the guy saying at the end? I looked for lyrics for this song but could not find any, if anyone knows then let me know.
"It sounds like random words that sound like Chinese words but make no sense"
- My Chinese wife
@89Krisz
ohhhhhh YES!!!!!! :D
who else thinks after neo-tokyo your playing the game's back 9?
i mean neo tokyo is hard as hell and after that the rest the game is just like yawn XD
WHY IS IT THAT CRYTEK GAMES ALWAYS HAVE SUCH KICKASS MUSIC
God this level was SO HARD!
@MrAlexKenyon oh well. so i was wrong in that fact, but it's still great music.
1:48 Japan?!

pretty deep for a youtube comment fam
you have learned nothing from your games yet? neo the matrix has you leave stage 1 go out dont let the boss level hold you down
How are you doing now?
HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR SHE SEEEEEEEEEEES YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU MISSION MAILED
I remember playing this level so much that I found a level exploit that made the early tracking part of the mission easy.
heard it was an intentional cross between Blade Runner and Akira ... creator was clearly a fellow child of the 80s.
@Shishizurui it was weird that when playing this back in the days i found this the easiest level and my favorite. nowadays when i try it i find it really hard
Nostalgia...
agreed, but i think borderlands 2 is quiet similar to tS2 ^^'
i think this is on playstation network
it is still a kick ass game!
Great Blade Runner level.
@audgess What!!!
@97MATTYB idk man, a lot of the old snes games were hard as shit. I think games are being dumbed down.
Norgate really nailed the Vengelis sound more than Vangelis ever could. ❤️
Not really I think. No real games in the style of TS2.
Oh god, the OST!
2:50

i miss this game so much wish they would've went through with the ps3 one they were gonna make
