My Husband drowned there in 1987, I was last in that area 2012. It's changed a lot since the last hurricane. Thanks for your filming of the area.

I’m sure glad you found the restrooms. I couldn’t go camping for 14 days without going !!

I wouldn't trade this for all of the Galvestons in the world. Love the piece and quite and fewer people.

Out of Texas gulf coast Sargent is my favorite of all. This one definitely I will check out it’s about two hours drive.

Wow, another great find. Love it. This means one has free camping options to stay in the Magnolia Beach area for 1+ months with occasional trips to Port Lavaca for supplies and identifying a dumping station.
A great alternative to Magnolia Beach.

Hi, love your videos, so inspiring. Is March and April too late to visit there. I lived in TX for just 1 year and remember how humid and miserable it was when it got hot. I will keep this on my inventory! Following you guys like a babe in the woods. LOL

Hi Claire. Be sure to check the monthly average temperatures before you plan your visit. This area is a great place to boondock. Lou

Thank you thank you. Very helpful. I've looked at many videos for magnolia beach but none real helpful. I'm definitely going to check it out. Did it feel safe? I'm a solo lady in a van. I love the cabanas.

Is there a "loop" to get out? I don't see much room to turn around with a large 5th wheel.
We're thinking it might be a nice spot to visit after Padre Island. We're due to arrive at Padre around Feb 28th, for about 10 nights.

The public road loops back onto the main road. Either direction, you'll be okay. Do a Goolge maps recon using the grid coordinates provided in the written video description. You'll see the layout.

Are you not worried about the salt spray from the water rotting out your rig?

Theoretically,,, if you stay there 14 days,,, is there any place nearby to dump waste tanks and get potable water during your stay ????

This is where I would go to dump and probably stay a night or two on the way out: www.campendium.com/victoria-city-rv-park
