I love this place. I parked next to the cabana last February 2023. The bath rooms were clean and the shower too. After a busy weekend sometimes it was dirty but they were there on Monday morning restocking. Ill be back in January 2024. I can't wait!
Thank you for the information. We're heading there tomorrow and stay until the weekend. Hopefully we still find a spot ( holiday weekend). We are planning to fill water before camping. Happy rving enjoy your journey.
Looks great. Well have to add to my long list of places to go, when we are able to get out on the road. Two more years till he retires. Have safe travels. Hugs
Y’all are parked almost exactly where we were the last time we were there. Maybe fifteen feet to the curb side of your coach. We had a nice conversation with the folks in that house on stilts. That beach was a really great location and the boys loved it in the water.
Hi guys..that was very informative...I think this is the best video on magnolia beach that I have seen...maybe we will make it next year...thanks again for the video...stay safe..J&A
Magnolia beach RV park on Margie tewmey has good overnight rates. They’re like half mile from the water. They don’t have a dump station but we’ve paid the nightly rate, dumped, and filled up before. They’re also a harvest host.
Please don't go over the bridge if you are over weight 10k tandem or axle). Instead of turning left on Margie Tewmy, go straight until you come to a fork in the road. LOL Then you can turn left and come in the "back way". No weight limits and we get to keep our bridge.
FYI, the beach has a county employee that records camping days. The 14 day camping rule applies to all of the park, including Magnolia Beach and Indianola (known as Millers Point and Fat Lady Beach). Once you hit the 14 day mark you cannot change location for another 14 days.
Wow Dave and Karen this looks amazing we are sitting here with around maybe up to nine inches of snow in areas and ice that came through late Saturday night early Sunday morning in North Carolina and low of 15 by Tuesday morning come on over for a visit ha ha you guys be safe
Great video! Just a heads up, both Indianola and Magnolia Beach are both part of the Calhoun county parks system. So you can't move from Indianola to Magnolia indefinitely.
There are 3 RV parks in the Port Lavaca area. You can call them and see what they say. If you google Magnolia Beach, TX you will see them about 10 miles away. We were not there long enough to need that.
We just missed you guys! My girlfriend and I tent camped there December 28-31 as a last minute road trip from the St Louis area. Saw the other HDT couple you mentioned and wondered if I had seen them before. Do they have a channel? Fortunately there was plenty of TP for the days we we there, LOL! Been wanting to visit that beach for about four or five years and we loved it! Did you happen to meet "Dolly" and her little chiuawa Arizona?
Nope. House had 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms including a fully finished lower level for my parents that we cared for until they passed on. Now down to just over 400 sq. ft.
Bad video because they don't even say what state this place is in I have no idea where this is at that should be first thing told what state is this beach in????

We'll be back there again too. Awesome place to stay. Glad the bathrooms and showers are up and running.
Best Magnolia Beach video I have seen on RUclips! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks for watching. Appreciate the comment.
I grew up on this beach, had a lot of good times. Go past the tables and start fishing.
Maybe next time. We had to deal with the 30 mph wind storm. Love this beach.
Pretty there. With my luck a sneaker wave would come in when I was there. Stay safe and healthy.
Have never seen a sneaker wave but certainly have seen a salt storm.
You guys park close to where I always camp! Hope you had an awesome experience!
This is one of our favorite boondocking spots.
I love camping there between late October to April. Awesome time to camp. I always bbq.

It's great you are doing your homework ahead of time. You'll be glad you did.
About chance Chrystal Beach is nicer? Magnolia just seems so dated with trashy building's.
Awesome beach site! Public bathrooms and hotel beds make me gag after 2 years with our trailer!! Thank you for another great review!!
Yep that was a gag. Love the beach though. Stay safe.

Yeah, this has had a lot of hits. We really like it there, but not much to do around that area. Good quiet relaxing place.

Good to know. Thanks for that.
Look like a pretty cool place to visit, would be nice To camp right on the beach.
It is! Try it sometime.
Very helpful. 👍🏼
I like the Grade Card.
Thanks for that. Thanks for watching.
My wife and I favorite place to camp.
I know what you mean. That's our third time. :-)
Just wanted to thank you guys for doing a review a while back on Jolly Roger RV resort in Marathon FL. We loved it! We enjoy your videos. 👍😊
Oh, so glad it was helpful. We want to go back there next winter.
Another great video
Thanks for watching and commenting.

OMG! You can keep it! That's why we left Michigan. No global warming in NC.
thanks for that looks like good place
We will go back. Great place to boondocking.
Great video! Just a heads up, both Indianola and Magnolia Beach are both part of the Calhoun county parks system. So you can't move from Indianola to Magnolia indefinitely.
That's right. Found out later. Thx. :-)
Beautiful video guys! Planning to go next week coming from the north. My question, is there any place where I can fill water tank and a dump station?
There are 3 RV parks in the Port Lavaca area. You can call them and see what they say. If you google Magnolia Beach, TX you will see them about 10 miles away. We were not there long enough to need that.
looks like a long way to the beer store dave
Actually not that far and they have pizza too. But I knew to stock up.:-)
Thanks for the location and routes in!! Stay safe, note: bring your own toilet paper, sanitizer! Lol
Yep. We have a dirty bag with all the necessities.

I don't think those guys have a channel. Did not meet the dog. We love that beach too. Better with toilet paper.:-)
Don’t you get worried about getting stuck in the sand? And if the tide comes in
Nope. It's crushed sea shells and it's like concrete. The tide is only 1 foot in the bay.
❤
Thanks for watching.
👋
Hi Juanita. Thanks for watching.
Windsock for your mics PLEASE !!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, there is no external mic. Some day I'll splurge.
Man, those bathrooms and showers are disgusting. I can't imagine needing to use the facilities.
Oh I know. We'll stick with the RV.
I agree with you about the pigs. Disgusting.
I know. Terrible.
Sold your stick and bricks, and then bought a bigger rig than your house!
Nope. House had 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms including a fully finished lower level for my parents that we cared for until they passed on. Now down to just over 400 sq. ft.

Check at 52 seconds into video. I give the address in Texas. It's also in the description.
