Thank you so much for not forgetting "Traditional" 1911's !!!!!!! "DS's" have taken over the 1911 landscape and it is truly awesome that you did this video !!! 🙂
Nice job Roger, the 1911 platform will never die..! All we do, we can revolutionize, innovate it all is based around that platform perfect example the 2011 and we try an take credit for a platform that existed for over 100 years and not to mention the price hike we are so smart but yet so stupid..! 😎
I just picked up the desert warrior a few months back. It’s my first 1911 and absolutely enjoy the way it shoots and feels in hand. I should’ve got the threaded barrel version but oh well, I’ll get a drop in threaded barrel later. Fun video and keep up the great work!
Thanks man glad you liked the video. I appreciate you checking it out. I definitely like suppressing 45 since it’s such a heavy bullet. It’s pretty dang quiet.
@@gabrielfelixmunoz739 theres a formula you have to do to make it run flawlessly. Either break it in with 500 hot rounds or get some wilson mags. A wollf spring. Lube it up and run a mag of self defense and it will run flawlessly. They are tight.
lol when I bought my first semi auto they said kimber no good. Was hard to find but got 1 then another. A 45 able to hit the side of a barn had to be sent out for 2g worth of work to hit target. Kimber did it right then still got 1 of em still puts all in 1 hole after way more than 40 prob 60 g rounds. Its been sittin awhile was sighting in my wifes new guns just bought was wondering if it was me or the guns. I mean they did good but couldnt get 1 hole groups even with a dot on one of em .Took out the kimber nope it wasnt me lol.LOVE MY KIMBER .Sits right at my side .
Sweet! I've always had good luck w/my Kimbers over the years, but I have avoided the external extractor models, too. And the .45 round is definitely a bully these days. They love to pull our man cards if we're half stepping, don't they? 😅
My first 1911 was a Kimber Warrior. I find it interesting how the Kimber haters are so vocal about their hate. There may have been days where they had trouble but it’s time to let that go. They wouldn’t be able to stay in business if it was as bad as the haters say it is.
I hear ya on that man. I still want to get a TLE RL II and do a video with that and an M4 like old school LAPD SWAT setups. Thanks for checking out the video, we appreciate it!
Lucas just did a short where he ran his, and it stove piped. Also, Cobra ready bought a kimber that had bad qc where the front sight post was milled incorrectly from the factory. That "hate" is definitely deserved for kimber. Their products are hit or miss, which should be the case, especially at the price point.
@@NitenReign I do not disagree that those things you mentioned did happen. However, I think you can take any production, firearms company, and find problems with their product from time to time. For an example, Springfield prodigy had problems from the beginning. They worked them out and now they are, mostly successful and the same with Sig P365. They had issues at the beginning. Again every production company is gonna have problems from time to time. Some need a break-in. Some problems are ammo induced or magazine induced. It’s pretty easy to point a finger and say, any specific one yeah, it’s no good. I guess it’s a lot like people they only see the bad in them and often overlook the good. I’m not saying Kimber is perfect, but it is a company that seems to get far more criticism than others for having some problems. That was all I’m saying.
@justflylow yes, but when it comes to kimber, they are a 1911 company that has been in business for about 30 years. With all the other companies you listed, they were bringing new products to the market. I can understand growing pains with them. Kimber doesn't really have an excuse. Especially since tisas, girsan, and ria have been at it for less time and are bring more reliable 1911s. I'm just saying people really shouldn't excuse the qc issues this company has.
0 problems with mine and over 2,000 rounds. They also refuse to pay for reviews like most manufacturers do. Some even give free firearms for positive reviews. Don’t believe everything you see on RUclips.
@@Lester.M sorry man…not from RUclips…all seen with own eyes…uncle had a good one he worked over back in the day but good luck with a new one..honestly I wish anybody the best I’m just a Dan Wesson/trp fan I guess as what I pack and have good luck with..🫡✌🏻

Glad you guys reviewed this! I’ve been looking for a recent review because I’ve heard some mixed reports on Kimber in the last few years. Great job.
Have a few Kimbers started with a Elite and Royal Carry don’t have a Desert Warrior but got a FDE LW in 9 mm

Kimber desert warrior or Springfield full size tan TRP?
Looks like a fun gun to run! Need to slide over to the website and snag a DNC UPF so I can break up my NVG signature in the AZ desert this summer 😎
Hey oh! Much appreciated man, thank you!
I've never seen a Kimber shoot that many without jamming
I'm sure this video was meticulously edited to appear flawless...
Bullshit.
I thought Kimber was the best or one of the best?

This gun shoots so straight, I must be crooked lol.

Nice to hear, this one did great for us on the range! Thanks as always my man!
cuanto mide el supresor??
Damn, Marco making it look like he's shooting 9mm out of that gun. Nice technique.
What ear pro do you use?

Good shootin' 🔥
Appreciate, REV45 is 😙🤌🏼🤫 As Marco said, it’s a compensator for gentlemen 🤣😂
Sizing info(shoulder width and total length ranges specifically) on the UPF Hoodie would be useful
It’s gonna be the same as the size shirt you wear. If you’re a large get a large.
Where can a person get one of the long sleeve hoodies your were wearing, sweet camo.
7:15 Here ya go! Thanks for checking em out!
Great video, guys! I picked up the new Springfield TRP a couple of months ago. What is your opinion between the two hand guns?
Roger - Please [revisit) your Springfield TRP OPERATOR
I must be the lucky guy, all my kimbers run but I use wilson mags
Nice video. You guys shoot this pistol very well very nice gun
Boy the phrase …they don’t make em like they used to rings very true on a kimber….id buy a yard rake before I wasted $ on a new one…

Sig Scorpion 100% over Kimber. Thanks for the video.❤
Got an osprey 2.0 on mine, its like sex, i want it all the time 😂
Friends dont let friends buy kimbers. They have 4:1 ratio of functioning
