Great video. I just got one in OD green (came with one 17-round and two 23-round mags and no fin, here in Utah) and have been looking at similar upgrades. They definitely give the FPC an aesthetic boost as well as a practical one.
I have a HighPoint. I'd like to get one of these. The 10 round mags are a pain with the HighPoint. If you want some fun, get some 147gr Lawman. They actually have some kick to them and they are very satisfying whacking steel.
I had to use SPACERS to allow it to snug-up, and be far-enough from the rear-end of the threads. The MCARBO makes it look a LOT better, 'cause the barrel looks kind of small, compared to the relative size of the fore end. Additionally, though NO 9mm carbine is gonna cause "excessive recoil," since this IS a Blowback-operated weapon, that break STILL tones-down even such recoil as there IS to be further-diminished. It's also nicely-made. The butt ALSO comes, STOCK, with a QD socket, for a sling swivel, and you can add a front sling swivel anchor-point to attach to the underside of the fore end, so long as you get the kind that will MLOK. You can get Magpul MLOK-mounting angled fore grip, too, but, FRANKLY? That RAIL he added might just add some further rigidity/stability to that plastic fore end. I just HATE that Y'all are having to put-UP with EITHER that FIN grip OR those 10-round mags. I've been wearing men's size-XL gloves, since the 7th Grade, so A.) I could hold such a grip, easily, and B.) you'll note that lots of long-range shooters leave their right thumb on the starboard side of the grip, ANYWAY, but these sorts of infantile constraints upon the RIGHTS of good people, ruled-by FOOLS, are irksome even to behold.

@holyfiredefense7424 For sure, man. Hopefully they can abolish the fin B.S. soon. It's ridiculous and honestly with this particular carbine it's kinda dangerous
Muzzle break is definitely not necessary as the recoil is very minimal. Far less than a 9mm pistol since the firearm is heavier than a pistol. I got the Sigurd Angled Foregrip with built in light. Love having a multipurpose item vs a one pony show.
@@katnapper1 For me it had nothing to do with recoil. As you said it's a 9 mm that is heavier than a pistol. I put it on for looks, because the barrel without it looks pretty bare. It's just me. Before I buy a gun I have already figured out what accessories I am going to put on it. 😁👍
It wasn't meant to be a dig. The increase in db's to the shooter makes it brutal if you end up shooting without hearing protection. It's a great firearm though. Perfect to introduce someone new to shooting as well. My 16 year old daughter loves mine. It's easier on her than the S&W M&P Shield 2 pistol that she's been using to learn pistol marksmanship. It literally is the same gun as the pistol with a 16 inch barrel and stock.
@katnapper1 I didn't think it was a dig at all. You were just giving me some information.👍 Wow! That's good she is learning to shoot! Every dad should teach their daughter that!👍😁 Amen! My sons are 9 and 10 but they are autistic so it's taking a little longer to train them and make sure they understand safety before they can actually shoot.
She's been shooting since she was 8 years old. I started her and her sisters off on a Savage 93 in 17hmr. Fantastic rifle to teach with because of less sound, no recoil, tack driver accurate out to 300m and inexpensive to shoot. She can 1 shot the stubby water bottles out to 200m, and eggs consistently at 75m. She looks like she'd be upset to chip a nail, but hunts, shoots and plays rugby. Yeah, I'm a bit proud of her.
Bro are you in Cali too? I got one of those a few weeks ago. It has the ugly fin unfortunately. I didn't get to take it to the range yet but did submit and get the free Vortex red dot from SW.
@@holyfiredefense7424yup sure do just got one. Unfortunately s&w says the .40 is not eligible for the free vortex crossfire promotion that includes all 9mm fpcs😡😡
I’m surprised you even thought a full turn was necessary or possible … I knew instantly going level snug was enough .. with good lock tight it doesn’t even have to be snug … There is no threaded anything once seated you go a full turn…I’m guessing you don’t do a lot of wrenching …No way a full turn is possible when something is bottomed against a washer
