Love Nelson. He seems like the most ordinary great chess player. He seems like a guy who would really be fun to just hang around outside of the chess board
That first game was absolutely insane. There was a total diagonal blockade throughout the whole map?! And the blunders on both sides, so many crazy tactics and only a minute on the clock?! That was hilariousssss loll
Sad to see a so nice guy and my current favorite chess youtuber loose so much. But your opponents are clearly good players. And while instructing and playing some times missing some thing or getting in time troubles. At 15:10 you are in time trouble, i saw that king had to move up and protect the bishop, that was the biggest mistake i saw. And it kind of sett up the first loss and a short term trend perhaps. We all go in those loosing streaks sometimes.was unfortunate that loosing the bish also covered the mating square. So that mistake lost a winning position. Some youtubers only uppload their winning games. I love you Nelson for beeing you. And that makes you beeing one of the most instructive chess youtubers 😊
18:37 In that first game, he almost made the decision to go K to support bishop but changed at the last minute. Maybe it was thinking about tactics and pinning the bishop or blocking the bishop’s support?
Nelson, i think these games in Singapore are messing with your logic . you're getting up at 4 am like me . Only im old and never need more than 5 hrs of sleep. I've never seen you make so many questionable moves, like sacking the Q cuz you thought it would work. And development should come BEFORE launching an attack . I learned a lot of this from you . Guess we sometimes get away from the basics . We all still love ya Nelson, you can't lose in chess . Either you win or you learn. Thanks for what you do. 👍
That was entertaining (first game). You didn’t see Kd6 to protect your bishop? That looks like lights out. I was glad to see you play Ne5. I was shouting for you to play that when you were about to play Ra3. I’d have played d4 if I were him when you gave him the chance for one move.
d4 is a fair enough move. During my game against him, I rejected d4 since it would open the g2 bishop (thought trades were bad for me) and would hang the d pawn
because if the premove stayed he would have taken the pawn the premove knight would have moved to f7 and he would have just moved away his bishop getting a cheeky free pawn
I'm probably watching this too late for anyone to notice this comment, but I'm just incredibly confused as to why this man likes to give up his queen at the most random times for no particular reason.
It might not have been the best move, but the reason was he didn't want the knight coming in. To be fair, he was still totally winning, and it was the time crunch that cost him that game.
Given how few 2300 players there are you may have reached the point that all most all of your opponents are watching the livestream. might be time to only record and post later.
The dude literally admitted to stream sniping, which is a form of cheating genius. Also, it’s common for cheaters to sack a piece in the opening to try to lower accuracy. That and the account being brand new was a red flag. Also, cheating is super common above 2000 elo in rapid, and over 50% of the people Nelson accuses of rice cooking get banned for fair play violations. Maybe don’t talk if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Oh, and he accused that dude of cheating in the opening, so your logic that he accused him because he lost makes absolutely no sense.
Love Nelson. He seems like the most ordinary great chess player. He seems like a guy who would really be fun to just hang around outside of the chess board
I would feel good referring him at a job
I remember the stream when you won all the games without any loss... That's life
We all have some bad days... Come back strong

That was probably one of my worst wins since like early 2023, absolute nightmare to navigate that position
@@Oscarplayschess that was a funny game though
@@chess26622not wrong
The way Nelson says “let’s go” makes me feel like I should drop what I’m doing and grab my car keys and leave because I’m late for something
Your explanations are so clear-thanks for the great content!
hahah the pre-move then cancel was hilarious! you should do that more often so that you catch the snipers!!!
Stream sniping is when you have your rice delivered instead of getting out the rice cooker yourself.
He was laughing at the start of the first game...
He wasn't laughing at the end...

You prefer two knights over a rook rather than a full bishop??
If you check stockfish, that's the best line tbh

I couldn't believe you sucked the queen in the first game LOL

This comment needs to be pinned! 😅😅😅
"I wasn't cheating, I was stream sniping and thought you premoved."
Yeah I saw that ,
But he cancelled it just before you played
I’d be interested in seeing you play longer games.
Like a 30 minute game perhaps?
It would be boring - 10 minutes is the perfect time. Also opponents could leave the game without resignation if they lose, would you watch that all?
"Are you finished watching your pawn thing so we can watch a movie?" - Funny wife comment.
After blk A pawn to A4, white C pawn to C3. White K can hold his own with Q support. Better lines.
Bishop h3 in the first game, what a move. Crazy.
During the game, that would have been the last thing I considered would be played against me
The first game was probably the funniest chess game i ever saw
It was so bad even I was laughing (at myself, I was his opponent) during the game.
I enjoy watching these every day after my overnight shifts 😊
28:22 what about bishop take f3 then after the queen takes you take the d4 pawn and do a rook left 🤔,??
Chess is brutal 😢❤
At the end of the day I've noticed it always comes down to whoever makes the first mistake
Nelson was hungry and tilted at the same time, that's probably affect his concentration
Dw nelson everybody has bad days
Tough day at the office
alexcrafter67 is your favourite opponent
I think he has a very good record against you 😂
Game 1 is what happens when you play chess for funsies
The worst part is I came 25th in my state championships, so I’m not even a casual player
That first game was wild but the queen sack was the cherry on top
Yeah the queen sack was unexpected for me
Why do I get the feeling that the first game (my game against Nelson) is going to end up on GTE
I just found out how much you love playing gambits, attacking and pushing pawns.
Snipers make the stream so boring legit the same story every time can you just block them?

It's probably the first stream on this channel where he didn't win a single game, didn't get a single point, only lost
Nelsi, I’ve watched so many of your videos, I’ve NEVER seen you sack your queen early and win, not ONCE. Don’t do it broooooo!!! 🤣
@1:14:56 how about f5?
That was entertaining (first game). You didn’t see Kd6 to protect your bishop? That looks like lights out. I was glad to see you play Ne5. I was shouting for you to play that when you were about to play Ra3. I’d have played d4 if I were him when you gave him the chance for one move.

1:31:36 why not Qb7? Undefended pawn?
I think he missed it unfortunately
So Halit rex is a stream sniper, isnt that pretty close to rice cooking? He's anticipating your thoughts and scouting your pre moves
31:40 why didn't you take the rook?
First time I've every seen a castle and then an uncastle maneuver
Lessons in how to lose gracefully.
For me doesn't matter if I win or lost. What matters is my fav creater shouldn't lose😆.
You should turn the first game into a separate video to analyze lol
3am chess go brrr
In the game around 1hr 20mins, how does the premove make it a free pawn like the guy said?
because if the premove stayed he would have taken the pawn the premove knight would have moved to f7 and he would have just moved away his bishop getting a cheeky free pawn
@ ohhh right lol makes sense thanks!
Wing gambit and delayed wing gambit once please
Let's sack everything because I have to be winning....
....

it's over for your chess
Let me just sit here for 100 years and think for an hour....

Oh, i lost because of time pressure.

Gotta be faster Nelson. Easy for me to say I know but it was a recurring theme.

I was not going to play Nc2, thought at the time he would just trade off with Ne1, after defending the rook
