Campbeltown is going to be a hotspot in a few year with alot more people visiting no doubt. 10-15 year from now when these other distilleries have been up and running and have age statement whiskies to put out will only see Campbeltown as not only a whisky destination but a business venture for people. I think it'll see an increase in population over the coming years.Cheers W.B

I’d agree Barry - hopefully it’s not long before Campbeltown is booming with whisky yet again. Sláinte!

@@TheWhiskyBaron I'm in Western Australia so a bit limited with choice, soo far I've had the Harbour and that was average i think it was peated but I really like double cask really nice combination of sherry and bourbon and for NAS really good stuff but the 15 and Victoriana are staples in my little humble collection. There are some Australian exclusives but there fairly pricey.

@@Dan-hn1lx interesting. no doubt the selection is limited, but great to hear that this gem of a distillery manages to get their liquid all the way out to Australia! I find that their NAS stuff is really interesting and whilst not always a polished product, it's a great insight into cask maturation and gives you an appreciation for the brand. hopefully you'll get to the distillery one day for some of their shop exclusives

I doubt they'll get floor maltings in any time soon, but dunnage warehousing would be a treat!
