Ginger, I am envious. I absolutely love how you paint with NO GLOVES. Girl, when I do that I have paint everywhere- on me, the table, the walls, the cabinets. (ja, ja) I love how the kitchen turned out. You are very talented. You see a problem and resolve it. I love hos the stove-cabinet-dishwasher combo turned out. Very original counter tops. I also thinks it matches better. I like the sparkly.

Drinkable yogurt (Yop) bottles make a great base for a table, and can be weighted down with pebbles and glue inside.
Thrift store wall plaques are good for table tops; just sand down whatever the picture, and paint!

Thank you :) i didn't think it matched the backsplash, i think the gold was throwing it off, should have used a beige like the shelf paper, i do want to try it again in a different kitchen, definitely prefer it over the adhesive shelf paper :)

Used watch or hearing aid batteries make good knobs for appliances.

@@GingerLolaMiniaturesI’m here for it! Lol The wall opposite of the living room is where I personally would have placed the sink/stove etc. Giving more flow and room. Considering the space available the home/unit seems to want house living but not giving functionality feel. If you’re going dinette and not doing 20s theme then you should think more modern muti-purpose. Like instead of a table and chairs, an island and/or bar counter and stools. Giving the kitchen space more space than “comfort”(?) Unless your wanting to have that eclectic look for your dolls dwelling. I mean we are talking dolls here so actual terms or consequences of living in such a made space, no matter the design, really are trivial. Unless you have judgey doll friends. Lol Then your looking at reads like “Oh this is nice, so no friends or family wants I see.” Or “Huh, This space would be great for someone in the witness protection program.” ❤

I found the music stressful. But I now want the Barbie playhouse I used to have!
Have you considered painting the brown cabinets a deep turquoise or another color to coordinate with something in the living room?
Stressful, really? I really love the music, no one has commented about it, so I thought most people enjoyed it... i'll try some of my older music in the next video, all of the music, or just a few songs? i think there's a few that are mostly uplifting? that's what i look for when searching for music. Sorry it stressed you out, that is definitely not the feeling i want anyone to have after watching my videos, i'll definitely change some of it....thank you so much for your feedback, it really helps. Barbie playhouses are fun :)
i actually want to add more brown tones in the living room to bring both spaces together .... for this kitchen i wanted to stain the cabinets, will paint other colours in other kitchens that i have to work on, there are many :)
It came out very pretty, I don't think I would change anything maybe add something to the wall where the pantry/shelf is at, only because it is a little bare. I love the cabinet doors they look like real cabinets. What is that pink stuff you use? spackling? And I agree the end result of the countertop came out amazing. Sorry I had not noticed that I had not subscribed, I am now, I even hit the notification bell. 😁

I do like it but the first table matched to the cupboards would of looked nicer and the chairs painted to match and the shelf unit as feel to much black, maybe made some cushions for the chairs
thank you... i was thinking that too, but i thought maybe to 'matchy' still want to improve on it, add an oven exhaust, crown molding, utensil rack, paper towel holder, etc... really having fun with this little apartment :) i love decorating! plus this apartment is my best in black barbie pad ... i have another one i'm working on, pink pop inspired and i'm starting another one soon for my marily monroe doll... mostly white and glamourous :) i was thinking about cushions as well, plus i found some really pretty material as a tablecloth? new video every thursday premiering at 2pm
I like both tables, but was the first one too. Big because the thickness of the table top seemed too thick? Like out of scale? If it would have been an 6 inch thick tabletop in real life, maybe that's what seemed too big?
That's what looked a little off to me.
I think too big compared to the kitchen, it's a 'small' apartment' so the bigger dining table seems off, i have seen thick table tops, so i think the scale is close.
what do you do with the parts you remove to restyle the doll furniture?
do you mean the pieces i cut like the candle holder shelf? i keep everything :)

The other table looked better with the cabinets and the gray 31:40
i was thinking too matchy, plus i really wanted to get a cabinet in there....maybe i'll try it in a poll, take pics of both, love polls :)

They are part of the skirt or pant fasters. It has 2 parts.

@@GingerLolaMiniatures They come in a package with 2 parts. They are like hook and eyes just made different and named different.
cool, probably not expensive, i'm running out of little bits to use as handles and fixtures, need to make a trip to fabricland, plus i always check their remnants bin, they sell for really cheap and perfect size for one sixth scale :)
