Indys look at 20:00 "Challange aceppted" Let poor Joakim alive! He seems to be dying out of laughter And then at 20:27 Indy looks like "You´ve asked for it" I have tears in my eyes because of laughter It´s not hard to see why these amiable goofballs get along so well
What would the places of worship look like? They have to have a militaristic theme, but churches, temples, etc. always have a peaceful, safe, welcoming aura to them. Any architectural artists out there wanna take a stab at it?
The interviewer is a guy who does ww1 n 2 history here on ytube. Sabaton is auditorial cancer! Gdammit sabatons singer is pure and completely utter gob shite!
Can we get a Sabaton History episode about Shadows, where they just talk about Lord of The Rings lore for 20-30 minutes? You guys are amazing, keep it up!
Saw you guys recently with Priest, walked in vaguely familiar with your music, big fan of The Last Stand, but admittedly I was there for Priest mostly. You guys killed it on stage. Good attitude, solid antics for a gang of mates playing music about beasts made of steel and final stands. I went home a fan, Carolus Rex in particular has been on loop. It inspired me to pick up a guitar the next day and we'll see where that goes, but I tripped over your history channel and now here we are. Love the commentary and insight, you guys do incredible work here, on stage, and wherever else you end up. Keeping the war bard tradition alive, man.
Fun fact, was at a Machine Head gig not too long ago and if you've ever been to one then you get a full on speech from Rob Flynn. Well this time he talks about his past and past influences and started talking about Judas Priest, in particularly KK Dowling whom he heard was in the crowd and was dedicating the performance to him and how much he admires him etc. I take a look around to see if I could find him, he was 3 feet to my right.....
"If you have a chance to see them live, DO IT." Already way ahead of you Indy, had my tickets to see Sabaton and Judas Priest in early September at a local venue. I am so ready.
I heard Love Bites for the first time in my preteens during my mothers' 35th birthday party and I was sold for life and I turn 31 this coming spring. Judas Priest is my absolute favourite band of all time, there's literally not a single song that I dislike. All songs speaks volumes and tell their story in their own way.
I love Sabaton, but I would happily listen to Indy talk about local weather conditions or just about anything historical. He has such a fantastic voice and inflection. Reminds me of my love of Kevin Harlan. "Im calling both games!"
That preacher bit had me laughing so hard. Great episode! Hopefully with the "teaser" we got recently from the concert in Serbia, we'll be seeing some historical episodes again in the near future.
I got to see Judas Priest here in Australia the last Soundwave they performed at. The set was amazing and the whole band was head to toe in leather on a muggy 35 C day. Legends.
My favourite Priest track has absolutely got to be Breaking the Law. When I discovered it, it just hit me. I WAS all alone, completely wasting, out of work and down. I was drifting from town to town, feeling like nobody cared if I lived or died. Then I picked up Angel of Retribution while heartbroken and having had all my plans for the future torn apart, and then THAT hit me as well. I was young, out of work, broke, couldn't find a job, couldn't get a job, couldn't even stay on benefits reliably because what was the point of looking for work when there WAS no work? Discovering new music helped pick me up and get me to keep going, and I'm still discovering more Priest today. Defenders of the Faith hit me hard while on holiday last year. I queued it up on my phone, started walking, then I hit the title track while walking on an almost empty beach in the early evening. Slightly chilly with the wind off the sea, facing a whole week of no obligations to anyone except what I wanted to do, standing there watching the sea, hearing the music in my headphones... It's just one of those moments that will stay with me because of how perfect it was. And it was stuck in my head the whole way up the east coast to Yorkshire. Painkiller has to be my favourite Priest album, though. Not a bad track on it, not a dull moment, and it PERFECTLY manages the energy all the way through. Even down to the bonus track. It's like a movie condensed down to album length.
I finally had the time to continue with the Sabaton history episodes - and almost spit my coffee because of the (Judas-)Priest Indy and his church of Sabaton :D I would gladly join that one any time ;) As for Judas Priest: I was very surprised to hear some songs from them in my favorite bar back then. Most of all "Breaking the law", "Turbolover" and last but definitely not least "Painkiller" - all very fine and motivating/pushing songs for many occasions, especially car driving :D
I promised myself last year when I was going through chemo if Sabaton ever came to the states I'll be buying tickets and now that they're here with Judas Priest as a bonus I can't wait
....and then in 2024, Judas Priest drop their late career masterpiece, Invincible Shield, and on the U.S. tour, they are bringing Sabaton to arenas all over the the nation. I'll be seeing Priest and Sabaton on May 12th, and I can't wait!
Just saw Judas Priest AND Sabaton in Reading, PA! Both bands were amazing! Joakim was high energy and so entertaining! And Halford was a screeching demon! Do yourself a favor and see these bands live!
I have been a Judas Priest fan since I was about 14 years old, and Painkiller was the soundtrack to my high school years. I was and am such a huge fan that I actually took the lyrics to Painkiller and wrote a superhero fan fiction story about it. I even turned it in as a midterm writing assignment for my 10th grade English class and got an A!
Who knew a typo when searching Savatage, another great band, would lead me down the Sabaton rabbit hole 5 years later. I haven't been disappointed since!
Seen them twice; 2009 and 2011 in Newcastle. They're one of my favourite bands and biggest influences on my own writing. I adore their catalogue, so many bangers. From their hard hitting metal maniac anthems like The Sentinel to their epics like Blood Red Skies, commercial synthy bangers like Turbo Lover and Out in the Cold.
I love when Indy cusses it's so unexpected and out of character for him. I've been watching his WWII series from Timeghost history and he broke character and I was like "whoa he said what now ?" 😂
Damn, 101 KLOL. That's a set of call letters I haven't heard in a long time. Used to listen to them in the afternoon, and Moby and Matthews on 97Rock in the mornings. Great episode Indy!
I'll be seeing my first Sabaton + Judas Priest concert in Philadelphia. I am so excited to see this concert!!! Also I would diffinetly join any church that would have indy as the priest!!
Indy's shout out to KLOL took me back to when I was listening to rock on the way to work, but when I left work KLOL was suddenly playing Spanish pop. It was a sad day for Houston radio.
I was going to be at the priest and sabaton concert in Nashville before it got canceled but I've bought tickets for the upcoming nashville show in October can't wait to go
I will say this is a long time coming I will say Judas priest was my music as a late 90's kid gym and working out classic metal and Sabaton Metal tunes
Judas!!! I've seen them 3 times live already and I'd kill to see them again. Favorite band since childhoold, with their hidden and deeper meanings to a lot of their songs
Had to comment after your "DOOO IT" LMAO. RLY go do it go see them. Saw priest live in U.S. during epitaph tour. It was awsome. Zach wilder did a solo opening for them and Rob brought out his Harley. A amazing metal experience for my birthday. Belive it was 2012
A long time ago, friend of the family got us all tickets to Judas priest concert and I was listening to them play breaking the law when I saw two cops with two firefighters jamming out to the song and I couldn't help but laugh at the irony.
My fav band is Judas Priest, my roommates fav band is Sabaton. We love both of them and are looking forward to seeing both groups in Orlando this fall 🤟
Metalhead I am. Christian going to church I am too......Indy had me on the floor not for worshipping but sheer crawling of laughter....Many pastors do drag many Christians name through the mud by creating such specticles....well played Indy well played
I would go to that church. That was the hardest I laughed since the pandemic started. Indy if I am in Texas we should meet up in Austin or San Antonio. My brother lives in New Braunfels.
Saw judas priest live in concert before the coof! Amazing show! We got lucky bc the venue got the layout backwards and ended up with front row seats!!!!
I am very fortunate to watch Sabaton and Judas Priest in Youngstown, Oh. My goodness!!! Both bands played their hearts out. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you! The energy, enthusiasm and pure adrenaline was magic.
I got to see Judas Priest about 10 years ago in Detroit. It was one of their Goodbye tours. Thin Lizzy and Black Label Society opened for them....When Priest took the stage they pretty much said "Shut up kids, us old farts will show you how it's done". They blew BLS so far out of the arena it wasn't funny, and BLS WAS AMAZING! Halford back 10 years ago STILL had it, still hit the notes. How at that age? I have no idea, but he did it.

Indy: "Do it....Do it.....Do it....."
Palpatine: "This MF spittin'."
Joakim: You sound like a preacher.
Indy: So you've chosen hilarity.
To be honest if most preachers could speak about subjects they love as well as Indy religious following would probably increase quite a bit
Indys look at 20:00 "Challange aceppted"
Let poor Joakim alive! He seems to be dying out of laughter
And then at 20:27 Indy looks like "You´ve asked for it"
I have tears in my eyes because of laughter

Yo we have the same pfp
Church of Sabaton? Now that is something I can follow

Just like the Sabaton History channel?
What would the places of worship look like? They have to have a militaristic theme, but churches, temples, etc. always have a peaceful, safe, welcoming aura to them. Any architectural artists out there wanna take a stab at it?
We can make a religion out of this.
I'm totally digging Indy's look in this one. That jacket looks so badass on him!
He looks like he is ready to shoot Himmler in an alternate world.
I had no idea that he was into metal and it's freaking amazing! NVM maybe.. he said "wings of desire"
He looks like he's gonna take half my stuff every week
The interviewer is a guy who does ww1 n 2 history here on ytube. Sabaton is auditorial cancer! Gdammit sabatons singer is pure and completely utter gob shite!

Can we get a Sabaton History episode about Shadows, where they just talk about Lord of The Rings lore for 20-30 minutes?
You guys are amazing, keep it up!
I have been hoping for just such an episode since the beginning of this channel.
Sabaton, but it's just fictional battles retold in a serious way like sabaton does 😅 it would be great
They would of course NEED to sing about the REAL hero of LOTR Tom Bombadil
As an appreciator of Tolkien and his works, I would be pleasantly surprised if they did an episode on this!
Odd, I am on like my 5th playthrough on Shadow of War. I read this right after an hour into it
Saw you guys recently with Priest, walked in vaguely familiar with your music, big fan of The Last Stand, but admittedly I was there for Priest mostly. You guys killed it on stage. Joakim's and Rob's voices on the same song? The perfect match! Looking forward to this one!

Judas Priest is my absolute favourite band of all time, there's literally not a single song that I dislike. All songs speaks volumes and tell their story in their own way.
So glad to have finally have another Sabaton History and will go to the closest concert ASAP.
No small coincidence that Sabaton is opening for Judas Priest when they play here next month.
@@davehood2667 I'm so stoked, They're opening here in Halifax NS for Judas Priest and it'll be their first time coming here
Same! Can't wait for them to visit OKC!

Can't wait to see Judas Priest and Sabaton live together this fall.
Joakim laughing with tears and saying "I'd go to that church" is the best thing 🤣
Judas Priest's Screaming For Vengeance and Painkiller are two of my absolute favorites from them.
That preacher bit had me laughing so hard. Great episode! Hopefully with the "teaser" we got recently from the concert in Serbia, we'll be seeing some historical episodes again in the near future.
Saw Priest in 84 and loved it and I'm doing it again May 11 so I can see SABATON!😛
How cool is it that you'll be there four decades later? 😎

I got to see Judas Priest here in Australia the last Soundwave they performed at. The set was amazing and the whole band was head to toe in leather on a muggy 35 C day. Legends.

Saw Sabaton and Judas Priest fall 2021. Of all concerts I been to so far, my favorite.
I can’t wait to see both bands in DC, I have never been to a concert before so I’m really excited to see them.
It will be epic for sure, but ticket prices are insane. I'll go see Sabaton in WV instead.
