I recently rented that bike only it was the new 2019 with manual transmission. Glad I didn't see this video first :P That was really awesome. You had it in tour mode the entire time and it handled beautifully. Great video!
Actually realized after like the 3rd lap it was in Tour Mode. I almost always ride in Sport Mode. Working on a gadget to put it in Sport Mode on power up every time. Lol
5 mins and I can’t watch any more. Hehe, it looks pretty boring. Why are peeps sticking their knee out at such low speeds? I watched a dude go round a roundabout twice with his knee scraping the road . 🤦♂️ 🤣🤣 I laughed my flipping head off!!!!
Different organizations have different rules. This one I rode with that day did allow passing in novice after the first lap and as long as you're not part of an instructional group. I was also riding my '17 CBR1000RR SP in intermediate group the same day. Talk about two different riding styles... Lol
@@SEEMERIDECOM Thanks for the reply. I was referring to Nelson in particular. I have never ridden on a road course and picked up a Ninja 400 to get into track riding. I was worried that I would be forced to ride single file if I did novice the 1st time
@@troybolton4055 Normally, if you're new to track days you will be required to ride in a school session in most organizations. This could be for as little as one track day or in some cases many more before they will allow you to advance to where you can ride on a track pretty much unsupervised. I've been doing track days for 15 years and know how to behave on a track....for the most part....lol Most organizations will need to see how well you ride around other slower and much faster riders. It's all about keeping everyone safe. If you haven't been to a track day before, trust me, you want to be in the school session, as you will learn a ton. If you're new to the track, the faster guys will scare the crap out of you as they pass you at 2-3 times what you would think it's even possible to ride a bike at. lol
@@SEEMERIDECOM Thanks. I'll do the novice 1st to get the classroom part. With 20 years motocross experience I understood track etiquette and getting out of the race line when faster riders come through. However, I know street will be a completely different animal.

@@SEEMERIDECOM how about how to take the speed limiter off did you figure that one out yet
I like the video, no music no talk just beautiful sounds of engine and pegs scraping....👏👏👏👏
All while listening to Merle Haggard! Nice!
I don't think you out-biked those guys, you out-rode them.
Do you remember what tires you were running?
They were the stock ones Honda put on. The bike is in for service, so I can't look. But I think they are the Dunlop D423.
SEEMERIDECOM Very impressive for stock tires! All I can say is “wow”.
@@bobwampler3387 Thanks. It's a fun bike for sure. :-)
Pegs dragging. Not hard to do on the Wing. Nice riding.
I was riding the Wing in Novice and my CBR1000RR SP in Intermediate. Was quite a different ride...lol
The wing is not had at all to drag.

Awesome...
Are you an instructor or are you allowed to pass in novice group?
