I suspect that the big fish fight less because they know whats about to happen to them. A very interesting alien abduction, with lights and flashes and examining platforms. And then BOOM they're back in the lake. The smaller ones dont believe them and so they fight like hell to get away.

I gave up carp fishing a few years ago and concentrated on maggot drowning, can't remember why, but I think you have made my mind up to give it another go. Must get some of your dipping sauce though. What is it?
Can't beat a cook up, I remember me and a fishing buddy early one morning making bacon butties by the river bank at 7am, passersby complimenting on the smell was driving them mad, I've always found that faffing about is when the rods go, not organised cooking! Great session!
No ,as I don't bother Carp fishing through the winter any more .I imagine it should work though,especially with the gravy type bottle of dip you can get to enhance your bait.
Not always if it’s hot and the weigh sling has dried out,but if it’s wet it’s advisable to zero again as the weigh sling will be a few ounces heavier. If I get a fish I consider noteworthy I would zero again anyway just for my own peace of mind in case it was a big one. To be honest I am not too bothered how much a fish weighs but I know some people are a bit paranoid about weights.i once fished with a guy who weighed them down to the drams….!
what pound line do u have becasue whenever they put alot of preasure on my line i just give it line till its done fighting so it just easier to get in i only have a10 pound line upgradeing soon and i love watching ur videos im new to fishing
@@TAFishing oh wow. What test curve would you suggest for someone who is fishing for everything? In my local waters there is tench to 9lb, bream to 16lb and carp to 30lb. Not to mention big perch too 4lb! I usually do Friday nights to early Saturday morning before work. 😊

Graeme is a better chef than he lets on....he lets the meat rest, proper!! A bit like he pretends he is not the absolute GOAT when it comes to angling, he has forgotten more about fishing than most experts know. Those other chaps on the lake are annoying, no doubt creating noise for far inferior content for RUclips.

I despise this type of carping. Alarms, Boilies, PVA Bags. I catch Carp on meat just on the hook to a waggler. I miss more than I catch but that is what fishings about. It's called fishing not catching.

Do you zero the scales before you weigh every fish

probably just my 2 1/4lb t.c's, I have the power poles they are horrible to use,so I go back to my old stuff.

Why is it a dinner cooked outside like that tastes better than anything done indoors. Cant wash up afterwards but thats a bonus.
