Hey Geoff! I’m the engineer that you spoke to on the phone regarding the blocked condensate on this video, the house in Easton in Bristol! The soil stack had turd smeared down the side and had partially blocked up the condensate, I ended up upsizing the 22mm to 32mm through the wall, dropping 32mm into 40mm for an air gap and bossing the 40mm into the stack. The customer wanted a cost free fix and was skeptical of my initial diagnosis of backed up condensate and couldn’t get the installer to return to the job. Didnt realise you were a RUclips star 😂. Great videos I will watch them all and thanks for your help!
Your videos are amazing. Very helpful tips for engineers wanting to better themselves. What’s the word with the 224 fault on the 4000 is it the code plug had a few with that fault and eventually they were fixed from Worcester.
Hi just tonight had a ea229 Trap clear, blew down pipe, squited 3 ltrs of water though flue Only says condensate in book. Can you please advise On a compact
Thanks for this Geoff. When your checking the fan pressure the first time - you've got the mano meter on the test point and then your analyser somewhere else. Can you explain that?
Can I ask fault code 224 on 2000. Overheat stat? Did all usual checks, more of intermittent fault. Had to call out Worcester for warranty call. But would like to know what remedy could be thanks.
There could be a couple of possibilities after a hot water demand if the pump are not set correctly then latent heat it in the main ex may trigger a 224 fault code if the hot water is set at 60c The latent heat in the heat exchanger exceeds 70c it will put the boiler into anti-cycle mode and also contamination could do the same
In my case the condensation water's U shape pipe inside the boiler was full of dead wasps. It was nothing to do with the electrodes or the gas pressure. I cleaned the jam in it and now it is OK again. Bosch condens2300i W boiler.

Seen a few videos and nice to learn some tips which we wouldn't know otherwise. Excellent 👌
Always a pleasure to glean more knowledge from your skillset Geoffrey!! Thanks 👍🏻 🏆
Thank you again Geoff. You've taught me alot over your videos. Please keep it up
Your amazing Geoff, keep up the good work
Thanks for the video help me a lot...
Thanks for the service today. :-)
Clear and concise, thanks

Much appreciated
All the best ..
Please more videos about 4000 part replacement for example
Excellent video mate, thank you
Is this fault being caused by a design flaw?

It just gives you a different aspect of the display using a digital and a Mano water meter they are both using the same test point
Quality mate 😁

Top man Geoff....
Thank you sir
Top boy 👊🏻
You couldnt do a video on the 224 fault that comes up and worcester have to fix by programming something lol
Think it’s a code plug software issue
Geoffs a worcester ledge
