Top job that buddy.. ❤ just for the sake of a service in which not a lot happens poor customer had to fork out..
When I went to service a newish WB boiler with no service record I rang WB and they reinstated the warranty. Its always worth a try and the new owner of the house was thrilled to bits and became an instant WB supporter.
Hi mate, just want to say I really enjoy your videos. They have helped me massively to grow my own knowledge. Much appreciated 👍
New to your channel but really loving your videos. Learning quite a bit and really learning about abouit boiler repairs. Looking forward to your future videos
Ace video as always. Top guy!!!!! Thank you
Best boiler videos on RUclips 👌🏼
Quality mate. I'd of been tempted to carry out full service....no fan of Worcester boilers. Good job 👌
When is the next video.. really look forward to your videos just at the minute there a bit here and There
I agree about the electrode leads being difficult to get off! Why make it so difficult Worcester!!!!
use a small bladed flat screwdriver, just under the rubber boot, and under the tag. then lever it off.
Go in the test menu and you can test flame rect on the display.
Quote good settings on that boiler in the menus.
Fav is turbine signal delay for nuisance boiler starts.
the flame rec signal will not give any indication for explosive ignition. but you can use the TEST menu to check the ig trans, and listen to the spark.
@@dazl7954 it could give you a good idea on if the electrodes are pretty old or not. That’s all.
@@plumbertime hi, it will only give you a flame rec reading, so only the condition of the Flame sense, not the two ignition ones. But everyone has there own way of working 👍🏻
@@dazl7954 I know it’s only tests for what it says. The idea is though if the flame rect probe is weak then the electrodes are going to be pretty old. As they’re all in the same place. So prob worth taking a look.
Seen your other post re the gas valve.
How can a gas valve let bye on a zero governor gas valve but never make it to the heat exchanger.
I get the fan pulls the gas through ect but why would you rule it straight out?
@@plumbertime gas valve regarding explosive ignition? If that is what comment you are referring to, then the term explosive ignition on any boiler or appliance means, there is a gas and air mixture present before the ignition source. So lights with a bang. That’s why I rule the gas valve out. But if there is no report of lighting with a bang, then I never rule anything out.
I changed electrode is well
Great video, what is the purpose of the bearing plate?
the bearing plate has two functions, it increases the efficiency, and also stops warm down draught air from causing condensation in a potential cooler air box.
I got same problem. What did you do can you give give advice plz
good video, explosive ig, gas there before a spark, so can rule out (gas valve, bearing plate, fan) so why the other person changed the gas valve is a mystery, re elec leads, use a small bladed flat screwdriver, just under the rubber boot, and under the tag. then lever it off. I find that works a lot better, but everyone has their own diff way. (was the fan securing screw already loose when you got there?). if the customer would of called Worcester, and if there was any warranty / guarantee left, they would of advised a chargeable service and addition to reinstate any remainder. not sure why you had to adjust the min and max co/co2 on a prefixed gas valve, as the air intake is fixed by the plate on the back of the fan, and max gas by the injector on the gas valve outlet connection, was the cell dirty (lack of servicing?) but good video tho.
He blagged it about adjusting the high and low he probably just put it in high and low to check the readings Co2% 😂
When are you back?
Pretty soon I have a ton of footage that I need to edit , had a few technical issues with cloud storage and getting locked out my apple account
Mate if thats fd code 958 or 959 its electrodes that need changed.
Very common to get a small hairline crack on the white section
