Pods, hurtling down through the atmosphere land amongst the hordes of enemies forming in anticipation of his first move. They breach and out climb a half-dozen Sangheili Zealots, their armor emblazened with the Banished insignia, red blood-blades igniting with loud hisses. "The Banished just issued a General Order..." the Weapon says, a little apprehensively inside his helmet. "Looks like they're going to through everything they have at you...I hope you are ready for this." "Always." the Chief replies, before throttling the Warthog into gear and racing forwards. He grabs a hold of the chasis just and leaps out of it, just as it collides with a stockpile of plasma coils, causing a massive blue fireball to erupt and vaporize a considerable portion of the Banished surrounding it. "..." The Zealots surround him as he lands a few feet back from the explosion, reaching over his shoulder and taking out his Assault Rifle. They were on all sides, and he'd have to be very careful in how he handled them. Looking down, he removes from a plasma grenade from his combat harness, his thumb pressing the button to prime it's timer. "...bet you can't stick the big one at the back..." the Weapon says teasingly between his ears. "You're on." he mutters, making a run for his nearest target.
HAHAHAHAHAHA, I kinda just got that title, lol. what a reference, this is the song that plays when chief pulls out a lightsaber on high charity (also freakin fantastic)
Having listened to this more, I have to say this is probably my favourite of your covers from the various Halo OST's. It's recognisable enough to the original while bringing something very different. The percussion and those little echoey brass motifs are just 👌 MMMHHHHH
Josh11735 did something similar with this Halo Melody too. While theirs is more staying true to its original, I love the remix and your take on this melody. The piano sort of reminds me of the time when I first got into music production. And I found this tutorial, that was teaches how to make Melodie’s and chords with the piano. Little too anecdotal, but overall I love this song.
chief quickly grabs his assualt rifle, he runs to a terminal while killing any created thats in his way, he puts the chip in, forcing a fragment of cortana to go in the ai chip, cortana starts glitching out, chief starts to run to another terminal, before he can get to the terminal a created jumps on him, trying to kill him, chief shoots it with his sidekick, he gets to the other terminal and puts the ai chip in, cortana starts glitching out more, one more terminal left, chief gets to the last terminal and puts the ai chip in but before cortana fully went inside the chip, she sends a pules out, knocking chief out. part 1 ruclips.net/video/kQs-pwem4VA/видео.html
I'd like to see you attempt Peril/Jeopardy soundtrack from Halo 2, and give it a "Halo Infinite" vibe with it at some point if you're able :)
