Halo Infinite Tribute - 'Last One Out, Get the Lights' (Warthog Run v.2)

- Decided to re do this as I thought the last one was sub-par. Incorporated the snippets we've actually heard from the trailers, as well as more of a Combat Evolved inspiration on the strings. All credit goes to Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori.

I can see the opening of one of the missions now. The Chief is aboard Brohammer's pelican, along with a small team of marines, as they approach the site of their next objective, a coastal installation that holds Zeta Halo's Cartographer. The plan is simple, secure the beach and enter the structures on the island, locate the Halo's control centre and proceed from there. (Just like old times...)
As they approach the LZ though, Anti-Air fire bombards them. Brohammer yells back over the intercom that they will need to make a fast landing, at which point the Chief gets an idea, one straight out of his training days as a young Spartan II. He moves over to the open hold doors and climbs out onto the warthog, getting into the drivers seat, and turning on the engine. The marines look at one another as the lights illuminate the hold.
"20 seconds to drop!" Brohammer yells through the intercom, just as the underside of the pelican's hull is hit by one plasma fire.
The marines are quick to follow the Chief all of them climbing up onto the warthog, two of them in the passenger seats, the other on the gun. Just as the Pelican passes over the beach, the Chief reaches up to the clamps holding the warthog to the back of the pelican and revs the Warthogs engine.
The warthog breaks free of the pelican as it flies over the beach, landing on the sand with a roar from it's engine, barreling up the beach and over a rise in the sand, landing and skidding to a halt. Brohammer's pelican screeches overhead, disappearing over the cliff faces surrounding the structure.
"Talk about making an entrance!" he laughs gleefully over the comms. "I'll find a place to set her down and make repairs...let me know the moment you've found what you're looking for, and I'll come pick you up."
GAMEPLAY BEGINS
OBJECTIVE: SECURE THE BEACHEAD, FIND THE CARTOGRAPHER.
NOSTALGIA, AND POWER SLIDING BRUTES INTENSIFIES
drums were very impactful in this version. With the anvil like sound that makes it sound like the time is ticking by the seconds accompanied with the fact that the strings wouldn't fade out but almost end abruptly makes me think this would go along with something that was urgent but not something to end the game on. A lot like the title of the song itself from the halo 3 level. Very well done man.
Thanks! You have no idea how hard the drums for this song are... While in most pieces they're just there to set the tempo, the drums ARE this song. It's also a song where the individual elements are really hard to mix because they're so juxtaposed.
Using an anvil/hammer sound is very fitting for Halo, slightly surprised that it hasn't been featured in official music before.

The last run was great, but this is even better. The drums sounds so much cooler, and I love the hammer noise.

On a four seats Warthog, gunner & open trunk with space for two extra passengers.
Chief, Bro hammer, Craig, Arbiter, Noble 6, Sgt. Johnson & Sgt. Forge escape Zeta halo.
Radio call, it’s Spartan red team on a Pelican.
*Objetive* get to the LZ for evac.

If I have to get nit picky some of the instruments (that I don’t know the name of) could have a little more “umph” to them, to make it sound a little more powerful. But that’s it, well done.

Master chief destroying another halo and headed to the ark
i have two ideas for a warthog run #1. after master chief kills atriox he has to get to bro hammers pelican before the flood infested high charity blows up causing a large explosion that destroys the ark once and for all, with cortana guiding you to the pelican, a sorta nod to the cut halo 2 warthog run, #2 after a silent shadow kills brohammer, master chief has to fly brohammers pelican to escape the inner workings of the crashed banished cruiser after destroying it's core to blow up zeta halo, like warthog run idea #1 cortana will be guiding you through the banished cruiser, an emp blast from the cruiser causes the pelican to get stranded out in space, so chief uses the energy from his suit to power a cryo chamber to sleep in untill a unsc ship finds them.
It's cool to listen to this now that we have the official version out. Great job!

Very good! My only beef with composition is that the string instruments sound to stiff. They should echo a bit, not to be so abrupt. But all in all, it's nice!
