I dunno why but I've always viewed the melody that kicks in around 0:15 - 0:16 to be like the "freedom motif" from Deltarune but for Sonic "bad future" tracks. It's never been used like that, but whenever I imagine a bad future remix of a non-CD stage, the Ruby Delusions melody always kicks in at some point. Wish I could make my own Bad Future tracks and implement this idea but I'm not a good composer. Anyways, this is a great song! I love it.
