Moving butters from the background to one of the more regularly focused on character was brilliant
I mean he was once meant to replace Kenny waaay back. And just got more and more fleshed out over the seasons.
Fortunately they didn't quite follow through on that back then, otherwise Butters might not be as popular as he is now.

This season has been amazing so far, so much respect for Trey and Matt and how they are able to consistently do this show to a high standard.

Ironically, we should thank Cartman for teaching Butters how to be a man after he came up with his "Kissing Company." Butters was always on top of innovation and financial growth. This episode, he was smart to have financial counsel and buy back his investments just to stick it to Cartman 😂

Sad thing is theres really people like Cartman in the workplace. I still remember years ago working at Hometown Buffet, this kid who just hired and wasnt even an hour into his shift asked the manager "When should I take my break" Didnt want to do anything. He didnt last long

I'm just so happy that Cartman got to return to his old residence. And yet I feel bad that he no longer lives in a hot dog. Dikinbaus is the most clever name Cartman has ever came up with, especially for the episode's title.
Would be better if he stayed living in the Hot Dog. Since he forced his mom to quit from being a Real Estate agent so she couldn't afford paying rent. He should lived with the consequence of his action by living in a Hot Dog.

So many of the episodes gravitate around Cartman, and they never cease to have me in stitches. Whether it's what he does, or says, he is the engine of the South Park machine, there's no SP without him.
Favourite Cartman quote?!.. "It's a toy dog you have to pet and feed or else it'll die. It's the coolest thing ever" (maybe not word for word but it's not far from it)
I like how at first it comes off like cartman is just amazed by the technology of the robot dog but as he keeps mentioning it, it becomes clear he wants the robot dog just so he can starve and kill it lol a lot of kids would do that

Butters and randy episodes are South Park at their best IMO. I always get a big smile on my face when im watching and realize its one of their featured episodes. I also appreciate that SP doesnt overdo them too much either, at least until recently. Itd be easy to let a fan favorite character to take over the show but that never works longterm.

Ahead of its time, south park is having trouble with how our real world is going insane. Think of it 10 years ago Cartmens behavior in this ome scene would be a rarity but now you see a viral tik tok like this every month.
South Park has mastered the art of pointing out the absurdity of modern day living and I love it

There's been other times Butters had his moments. One time, he farted on Cartman and then flipped him off. Another time, he showed a video of Cartman dressed as Britney Spears.

I love Trey and Matt. I strongly believe the reason why they haven't been cancelled is because they don't single out a certain group of people. They're satirical about multiple social, economic and political issues. They do it in a very vulgar but brilliant Way and I love that.
Just watched the episode. On the one hand, Butters really should have known better about lying that Cartman was good at any kind of work but on the other, watching Cartman be kicked out of his purpose-built dream house was super fun, they always manage to give him the best karmic justice.

The last episode of that particular season was absolute garbage. Political humor is only funny when it's based on the truth and isn't funny when it's complete misrepresentation.
Stone and Parker are now cowards because they have not made a single joke against are now cowards because they have not made a single joke against Biden yet, despite the fact that that man is a walking Goldmine of jokes.
I love seeing Butters stand up to Cartman for once.

What's funny about this is the "bare minimum Monday" was something a business owner allowed themselves to do, not something an employee would do. When you work for yourself, you can do what you want, but the media immediately spun this to make it sound like it was something everyday employees were practicing. Total BS. Still funny though.

I've never been pissed off at Cartman before
but after all these years and resigning from a job I had cause everyone was still working from home (even though management already said it was safe to go on site now) and nobody would come to help me like Butters here, 2:36 this was the last straw
And by the time this episode ended I was laughing happily seeing Cartman get what he deserved
