Leaving the UK for a 3 month Motorhome Adventure | Newhaven to Dieppe Ferry

- We set off on our first European adventure in our motorhome, we're doing a 3 month tour of France and Spain. This is our first vlog in Europe.
We’re travelling to France in our motorhome and taking the DFDS Newhaven to Dieppe Ferry crossing.
This is the start of our 3 month motorhome Roadtrip to France and Spain, we will land in Dieppe and need to find an Aire to stay for the night...but is it as easy as it sounds?!!
This vanlife video will show you where to park up the night before your ferry in Newhaven and where we parked in an Aire overnight on arrival in Dieppe.
We also show you around the DFDS Ferry, The Seven Sisters, which was a four hour crossing from the UK to France.
We’re on our Europe 2024 adventure and will be travelling throughout Europe and the UK this year in our motorhome. Our current journey is through France to Spain.
We’re a full loving retired couple who enjoy looking for funny and quirky adventures in our motorhome.

Beautiful scenery around Seaford and Newhaven ❤❤ but the wind and rain sounded hurrendous😮, definitely wouldn't have come a knocking.😂😂😂😂😂. Great Vlog, can't wait for the rest of this series. ❤❤

I’ve traveled newhaven to dieppe many times. It does get very busy at times but is still our favourite crossing.
There are so many beautiful places in France but I would recommend Carcassonne.
Made me jealous watching it, can’t wait to go back.

We've done that newhaven ferry a few times and only problem we've had is 3 hours to go through customs coming back at midnight.
You did make me laugh thinking that toilet dump was your campsite 😂 hopefully you've got the symbols figured out now 🤣

Have a great time. We have only done one trip abroad in our self converted VW went to Spain last year, did the 2 nighter to Santander. The food there was very good value and fabulous quality. I wondered do the supermarkets near the ports ramp the prices up as they know folk will be coming in to stock up? Be interested to hear if it’s pricey all over.

We are in the process of planning our first trip to France in the motorhome and so your series is going to be really helpful for us, especially as we have yet to choose which way to cross the channel but, we have the added difficulty of taking the dog, Keeva the Pickle.
You ask, what is our favourite place in France? To be honest, it’s the whole of France!
Can’t wait to see your shopping trip and price comparison, although the price of a bottle of wine seemed very appealing. Don’t forget to check out the chocolate, When we go to France, we love to peruse the sweetie and chocolate aisle as there is always some amazingly tasty things to eat there.

Tip Stay away from Portsmouth - Caen to many immigrants there now 14000 in a camp breaking into cars and motorhomes in broad daylight to try and get to UK

I meant to pop over to I’ll de ray I know that’s not how you pronounce it or spell it is La Rochelle there is an island there it is very pretty worth a visit. Have a lovely journey.
