"Home" Lost in cheap delirium Searching the neon lights I move carefully Sink in the city aquarium Sing in the key of night As they're watching me Take me somewhere we can be alone Make me somewhere I can call a home 'Cause lately I've been losing on my own Wrapped in silent elegance Beautifully broken down As illusions burst Too late to learn from experience Too late to wonder how To finish first Take me somewhere we can be alone Make me somewhere I can call a home 'Cause lately I've been losing on my own Take me somewhere we can be alone Make me somewhere I can call a home Won't you take me home Won't you take me home 'Cause lately I've been losing on my own Won't you take me home
I will never get tired of watching this. To see an artist pour every bit of themselves into a performance and nail every last note, to the effect that THEY get emotional. Love Tina Dico and Zero 7.
I will never ever forget seeing her perform this with Zero 7 in Glasgow as they promoted their When It Falls album. I've seen many a great gig - including Prince half a dozen times- this was right up there with the best of them. Jaw dropping stuff.
...when she bites her lip with a slightly mischievous smile after singing "take me somewhere we can be alone" for the first time...when she beams her precious smile and then giggles at the end... These parts and every beautiful moment in between melt me and reconstitute me into something thankful for the privilege to experience it, she alone redeems much of the ugliness and pettiness of the world. Bless her heart, bless her petite and cuter than sin nose! I have a weird thing with noses... Sia's nose throws me off a bit but Tina's is transcendentally precious. Cheers.
At 1:00, right? She's more sticking her tongue out rather than biting her lip, but I hear ya, man. Your writing of female beauty is a much appreciated sentiment that only a man can write on the visual appeal of the female form.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Tina a couple of times, and as talented and beautiful she is; she is equally genuine, considerate, and down to earth. Her mama raised her right! More power to her.
One of my favorite songs, by one of my favorite groups---loosely speaking, since the Singers are session-Singers, and deserve their own, SEPARATE level of Respect!--of all-Time. Salute, Miss Tina Dico. Love your voice, and your Vibe: excellent job, here...
This song arranged this way conjures images of James Taylor for me, albeit in a much more ridiculously hauntingly soulful and gorgeous package, both visually and audibly.
jaim haas yes indeed, she is gorgeous and she has aged well! Denmark is beautiful and the people too And sorry, I didn’t really understand cuz of my bad English, I’m from Flanders 😄
A brilliant song, co-written by my father! And a stunning performance from Tina, as usual.
Your father wrote this masterpiece? You should be proud it's one of my all time favorites.
@@wolfflow8972 Thank you. You can find him on RUclips too ruclips.net/channel/UCEsFhM29N4KocuW6CO-CbMQ
thanks for bringing this to my attention! super cool
Wow! My fave Zero 7 song of all time. Thank you to Mali Korsten’s dad (and Mali Korstenn for bumping it up in the chat!)
Wow, I hope you are so proud
this is my favorite acoustic version of a song. This song is a timeless classic. Tina Dico is incredible. Her little smile at the end is perfect.
I was homeless for over 9 years, long after discovering Zero 7 with Sia. This song kept me alive, really. Thank you Zero 7.
Wow…so amazing how a song can fuel hope and survival. Glad you made it!
God bless you! 🙏🏾
Still come back to this song after all these years.
You have good taste.
Same here. Never gets old...
Same! It was the first video I favorited years ago on RUclips and I still gravitate back to it. Love the guitar tuning, the lyrics, everything.
Same here. Years!
the soul in this girl's voice pulls tears out of me...lovely, just lovely....
same here
That's a good way to put it!Same 🙏🔥❤️
She is adorable, especially when she smiles and bites her lower lip, like an 8-year old with a new toy. I love her with Zero 7.
Agreed!
"Home"
Lost in cheap delirium
Searching the neon lights
I move carefully
Sink in the city aquarium
Sing in the key of night
As they're watching me
Take me somewhere we can be alone
Make me somewhere I can call a home
'Cause lately I've been losing on my own
Wrapped in silent elegance
Beautifully broken down
As illusions burst
Too late to learn from experience
Too late to wonder how
To finish first
Take me somewhere we can be alone
Make me somewhere I can call a home
'Cause lately I've been losing on my own
Take me somewhere we can be alone
Make me somewhere I can call a home
Won't you take me home
Won't you take me home
'Cause lately I've been losing on my own
Won't you take me home

I think Josh has a crush. Good taste Josh
Her voice makes me humble...and happy. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
Amazingly beautiful! Zero 7 have great singers! Tina Dico, Sia Furler are my favorite.
It's amazing how she sounds exactly like the song on the CD. She's really talented.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Tina a couple of times, and as talented and beautiful she is; she is equally genuine, considerate, and down to earth. Her mama raised her right! More power to her.
WTF did I just just watch... Unbelievable!!!!

this the kind of music the world needs. this is just real and honest and needs no studio effects.
If you've never heard this song.... you're missing out!
I'll have to look up more Zero 7!
James Mahon I highly recommend it, I've been listening to them since I was a kid
kiannaluv21-Since you were a kid? They only came out in 2001. How old are you?
+kiannaluv21 Yea, but since you’r only 15 that was like 3 years ago.
James Mahon please do - the first two albums were indeed stunning. so relaxing

I love how she smiles while she sings. :)
Maravillosa voz y canción. Adoro la música de Zero 7. Va más allá de las palabras el poder oír y más esta canción.
Kingsprinter, I agree with you 100%. Tina Dico has a voice that is FAR FAR better than 99% on the radio today.
Tina's humility is as refreshing as her beautiful talent. Simply charming.
It s so beautiful when musicians experiment new chords and melodies and create memory cores somewhere they dont even know...
Seems like she snaps back into "reality" at the end. Soooo good...
You know an album song is a masterpiece when you strip it down to a solo instrument and its original singers voice 👌
Utterly stunning in every aspect. Tina Dico is angelic.
Stunning song in so many ways. Beautiful version.🥰
definitely my fav video, especially her laugh at the end...such an intense song, it makes me want to cry

Zero 7 is the best kept secret in the music industry...this gal did the song justice. Very well done.
She is THE voice in Home, this is not a cover version. She, (Tina "Dico"), Sia and Jose Gonzalez are zero 7 vocal lineup.
@@ReneAlex No wonder she sounded awesome! Now I just feel stupid.....
Great! What a awesome song and voice.
Incredible still after all this time ❤️
What a stunning performance
am I the only one that feels like a genius for opening this in two tabs, muting one, playing both and put the video in sync with the audio?
Just sublime
