Thanks for the video, quick question: For movie nights seems great (controlled darkness) For video games seems great (speed over picture quality) What about daytime tv? Would you say you have to close all your window blinds to watch a normal show? For my room there would be 1 far window and 1 closer window, neither directly hitting the screen. I saw 3800 lumens which is really high and was hoping I wouldn't have to set everything up for casual daily use. The thing is these numbers are often inflated and I'm a bit unsure. Super understand what you said about Chris majestechs price ranges, this seems good for now but I want the daily use without setup and can't really afford that 2k alr screen as well haha (his videos have some crazy nice daytime USTs though)
Best guess, as long as you can get somewhat dimness around where the screen is it'll be okay. It's really hard for me to tell because I have it in my basement, so I have no windows so I'm fully light-controlled. If I was to turn on the light in that room while the screen is on; I could still see the picture on the screen but it is kind of hard to see. It is a bright light and I got white walls so the light is going to reflect all over. Hope that helps some.
I do get a little bit of bending in on the corners top and bottom. Part of that's because short throw projector. But I would work with your keystone commands and see if there's any way you can adjust out the top a little bit.
Sorry for the late response. There okay at best. It really doesn't have great black levels. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to get many lamp projectors that will have really good black levels. I'm in a light controlled room so I do get the advantage of being able to be in a completely dark room. But the blacks still look kind of grayish because they're being projected. It's not like my 4K primary TV upstairs where I've got back lit led projection that can be turned on and off in multiple zones. Hope that helps a little
That's ok 👌. Yeah, it's hard finding lamp projectors that have decent black levels, most are just greyish or dark grey. The Epson 5030ub, I think is a lamp projector that has excellent blacks but I can't find any in the country I live in 😅.
Thanx for responding. Going to make my purchase on black Friday
thanks
Do you use HDR at all? I turn on HDR on my computer and switch it to HDR on the projector and the color goes real pale.

I'm trying to figure out why my image is uneven. Meaning the top is not straight it's pushing up in the center.

How's the black levels on this projector?
