Really well done and very informative!! I’d stopped listening to a golf podcast you guys help sponsor so it took some digging to find you again!! I’ll be looking at your website!! Christmas 🎄 is coming!!!
My bay has a 15 ft ceiling. I have tried the floor projector device and it doesn't work well. Easy to trip over when collecting golf balls. I want to drop my projector from the ceiling or connect to my enclosure. I need your advice.
Looking at upgrading to a 4K projector for my golf sim, currently using a BenQ W2000+ which sits approx 13-14’ from screen with minimal shadow. My question is this which to buy BenQ TK700sti or LK936st, price is considerably different and the936 is laser. Pros and cons please before I spend more money than I have to. Changing the lamp in my W2000+ was simple and this should not be my only reason for going for the laser. Your thoughts please. TIA
Interesting that you say lumens matters most. I've set up my outdoor sim (enclosed the best I can, but obviously going to be some ambient light) and I had a buddy lend me two projectors to test out to help me decide what I need. They are both old projectors, but one has 3,500 lumens, and the other has a whopping 7,000. I tested them out both letting as much light in so they were very washed out, as well as at night when it was dark. I really didn't notice too much difference even with the crazy increase in lumens. I suppose it's all subjective, I was just happy I could still see the image with all of the ambient light.
Maybe the light isn’t pumping out 7000 anymore because that would be a big difference and you should be able to see it easily. It’s really not something that’s subjective
@@firstname2072 You could be right, they were both rather old. But, I disagree that it's not subjective. I said I didn't notice "too much of a difference" which is subjective. To different people, the delta is more meaningful than others. So what I am really saying is that I think there would be large group of people that wouldn't feel the extra money for the lumens is worth it. Same can be said for a lot of different products/industries. Some people are more receptive to the upgrade and deeply value it, others don't care as much.
@@Guythatsometimescomments yes sorry I get your point I understand what you mean. I was thinking along the lines of you would definitely notice it but your right whether the cost is worth it or not is subjective.
Do you have a recommendation for a 1:1 ratio screen? Have the Optoma GT1080HDRX and did manage to get a 1:1 through computer settings but does seem to blur the image quite a bit. Any projectors better setup? Great video.
I need to have my projector 13 feet away offset from the right bought a epson tw7000 doesn’t fit the screen size of 93 inch height big borders top and bottom the BenQ projectors would you say would be a lot better ? I just want something to fill screen well 🤯
Always a hard decision. Projectors get so expensive and you want to make sure to have a great picture. Thanks for the information.
Going to be ordering from you guys next month in our new house with the DIY enclosure, can’t wait!
Same one Golf Test Dummy uses

I'm in the same boat. Building my first sim and this is the last piece.

does the light from a projector passing threw a overhead simulator cause a problem
Would love to have known the price range on each.
Is this a music video? What is the heavy beat music for? Just makes it harder to hear what the guy is saying. I switched off after a few minutes
Why not talk Price ????? 11:54
