Reminds me of when I worked in a Volvo bus factory for a short while. They drove like mad mans with just the chassis. At that time they had a mid engine so the handling was great

I have seen pictures of a company in New Jersey that was a Brockway truck dealer 60 years ago and the chassis with engine came from the factory to have the body installed just like this. The chassis came with a wood seat, and the sight of you driving out of your shop is almost identical to the old black & white pictures of years gone by.😊

I'm not a truck driver or know anything about semis but I have learned a lot from your videos and it has made me interested in semis and potentially going for my CDL keep it up and get Lakes jeep going

Make something unique out ot this truck , maybe a Box Van show truck with some Amazing Artwork on it , find a Different Type of Cab to go with it .I remember back in the UK Bus and Truck Chassises being driven from the Factory to the Body Builders with just a drivers seat and controls mounted on a Wood Frame , no Windshield in any kind of Weather . I work right beside a fed ex distribution center.. the amount of broken trucks hauled out of there per month is alot .. you will make a killing on those chassis … a killing ..
one thing i can say is my life got a whole lot better health wise once i started working out and semi watching what i eat, i highly recomend it too anyone
Honestly, if I had access to a chassis with an engine like that, I would build my dream vehicle, mobile home, and truck. Not sure if the Kenworth K200 body can fit on these chassis, but I always liked those details of that truck!
It would be cool if you built a custom mini semi. Weather that be a pete or a scania hell maybe even a mini blue collar cab over. Came along way Bruce. From bumping Upchurch in the shop to burnouts in a 3rd gen Camaro to literally having over a million dollar elite fleet.

You should get a step van body….close off the back behind the seat like a single cab…..then build a pickup bed behind it. I only suggest the step van cab to be able to mount the dash and steering column without any hassle

I used to build double and single decker buses in the UK, chassis were driven from London to Manchester by fellas wearing just a crash helmet as protection in all weathers. Crazy men!! Just be careful as we had someone lose a leg falling off a bare chassis.

You can build whatever you want with this thing. You got so often old trucks I think you should take this as a base to create your own Truck or RV on it.

I work on these mt55 trucks on a regular basis. Recently I replaced an engine in one. The ecm is the same as a pickup truck if you need to find a wiring pinout of the ecm.

Could just build a dame nice motor home on that frame and it would be reliable start up every time and have plenty of power or guys would buy the frame from u and pull out the drive train and take that 6.0 off that allison and mount it to a 4l60e transmission use it for a drag motor.

Make a nice camper or RV Or a fleet of Roach couch mobile kitchens. Flat bed trailer with cab. Race car haller for a mud track car With service equipment and camper over head. Maybe a slide out kitchen.

The engine and frame size would make a fantastic DIY adventure camper.
