So, fun fact, you may not have noticed immediately, but Herman Li and Sam Totman helped write this song. You may know them better as the guitar players from Dragonforce and you can definitely hear it in the instrumentation.

Well i want Dragonforce to arrange all the drums for Babymetal forever. But they can stay away from the guitars. Dragonforce plays a billion notes but it doesn't sound good. Dragonforce is good for 2 things: amazing drums and making songs that are hard to play on guitar hero.

Road of Resistance is a classic by now and is being played at almost every concert.
The music Video of the new song was uploaded on their RUclips channel, it's made of footage from one of their shows at Yokohama arena just a few days ago.
I love how enthusiastic you are when it comes to Babymetal. And btw, the live crucification in stage isn't that bad. It's just something we fans like to show unsuspecting newbies that think that Babymetal is just all cutsie

when they are at their best like in this video, they are awesome, watching this, ijime dame zettai live sonisphere 2014, rondo of nightmare budokan, amore wembley, or akatsuki budokan, I think "they are the best band in the last 20 years, nobody in the world right now is as good as the magic combination of su's voice and the kamis instruments"

Lol.. You felt tired just from watching them in this song. Imagine them doing all this dancing and singing for an hour and a half. But, yeah Babymetal's momentum is not gonna stop because a third album is coming up.
Baby Metal is pretty awesome, plus the intro to this music literally makes me think of a dynasty warriors game level. Damn, I can tottally hear the Dragonforce in this!
Oh Giddy Kitty what a breath if fresh air you are to world 🌎 of reaction video channels. I realize this is a bit over 2 years old but I only recently discovered BabyMetal and I went on deep dive to learn all that I could about an entire genre and earth shattering band that dominates it. I have seen over 200 reaction videos on BabyMetal and yours made me smile the entire time. Normally the pure energy, emotion, passion and skill of Su makes me tear up; especially on Road of Resistance, The One, Nightmare of Rondo and the Starlight-Shine Akadia.
BTW - I have links to great background video on the band and to all of the lyrics in Japanese as well as 5 or 6 other languages. If you are interested. May the Fox God shines on you always. We are The One!!

To be honest metal started to feel the same. There was nothing new. But this band tried something new and that worked. Metal needed something out of the box thing and they gave us.

@@Zeewman Some prefer BandMaid, well I also have their songs on my playlist however I prefer Babymetal. Every song is very much different from one another and it makes me get refreshed every after song, I enjoy listening to my Babymetal playlist in random :)
I like Band-Maid better, because they actually play their instruments, while Babymetal needs help of other musicians to perform (but it doesn't mean their music is bad). Also I've watched another youtuber's review of Band-Maid's concert and he convinced me to give a chance to this band.

they came to america and were playing some festival and were supposed to be on some side stage for not so well know bands..
and they accidentally got put on the main stage where huge well known bands played,
and the band was like....what the fk??? and were scared
and a lot of stuff went wrong on stage..
but half way through the show.. all the ppl there to see bands like pantera or w/e they were actually got into it
and were head banging to them and supported them, not knowing what they were saying or what the hell was going on
and even bought their merch afterwards..
shows the true power of this band even from the start,
and also how metal gets a bad wrap even though most of us are actually nice open minded ppl :}

At 3:41-3:44 in this video you will find a few seconds of Karen Girl's choreography. Karen Girl's was Su's first Idol group and there is a lot of backstory to Babymetal history regarding that group and their song Over the Future especially.

I normally listen to stuff like Tool, Clutch, Rammstein, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, etc etc. But I discovered Babymetal like 6 weeks ago and I'm totally obsessed. Going to see them in KC and Chicago in Sept!
Babymetal's band is the Kami Band. and they're instrumental talent is so high off the charts that they put most bands to pitiful shame...... and they are a still a backing band.

Wonderful reaction! Love your enthusiasm but then how could anyone NOT get enthused with this?! You are going to find out Yui (usually on the right hand side as you look at them) left for medical reasons a while ago. They have tried, over the past several months, a few ideas about how to move forward (e.g. multiple dancers, single dancer, etc.) but at the first Yokohama concert on Jun 28th, they finally announced that Yui will be replaced with 3 "Avengers". That's a fixed set of 3 girls who will rotate in one at a time to perform at concerts. For Yokohama night 1 and Glastonbury it was Riho Sayashi - a former star member of Japanese idol group Morning Musume. Also in the rotation is Kano Fujihara (who appeared on Yokohama 2nd night). She is the current president of Sakura Gakuin (as Su and Moa were, but that is a deeper dive for you though :)). Who the third one is - only the Fox God knows so far. The BM community are on the whole totally on board. I am going to their concert in Seattle on Oct 16 and can't wait (2nd time seeing them)! New song PA PA YA!! is awesome and so is Shanti (others have mentioned already). Please react to more BM soon!

One thing you might also not have realized is you said you feel tired from just watching them from this one song. Keep in mind, this is the END of and hour and thirty minute show in which they've danced their hearts out for each song. And they STILL have energy at the end of the show. I have insane respect for them for that alone even. And yes Su-Metal has an AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! voice. You are very much correct in that regard. You should watch her sing No Rain, No Rainbow live at Hiroshima. I'm sure it will create a lot of emotions in you.

Babymetal songs are very diverse in style and in metal sub-genres, you need to check out more.
