Welcome back. This is a beautiful version of what was already a beautiful song (you may want to see the original lyric video) and the live performances they have been giving on the current European tour make this song even more beautiful. If you want some of the BABYMETAL energy you were expecting you will want to see the video for 'METALIZM'.🦊
👍 👍 I have seen a LIVE fan cam performance of this beautiful song from one of their recent concerts on the European leg of their world tour. It is breathtaking. Until next time.
As you can see, they can and HAVE done more tear-jerking, melancholy songs. I'd recommend you check out Akatsuki Unfinished and No Rain, No Rainbow for 2 other such songs. That being said, yes, their songs are normally more cheerful and upbeat. They do like to experiment and play around with different styles, so I'm sure they will have more "sad" songs in the future as I think Su kind of enjoys being able to do different things, and I'm taking a stab that she also likes practicing her ability to create emotion from her singing.
Oh yeah, this is a unusual yet very beautiful rendition of this song! Su's vocals are amazing and I agree with you about the bitter sweetness, I love it! Not to forget to mention that you are looking awesome with this black dress (you are always beautiful of course, but this suits you especially well:-))❤
This song has a music video (lyric video) and a Piano version video, but the live performance will be different with the addition of the production and dance. I think they are all great and I love them. I hope you will go to see them live! Or watch the live video! From Japan🦊
Finally you're back Giddy, glad you got this recommendation and hope this song can heal you with the final message: "Just smile" They're performing this song in each of their shows at Sabaton's Europe Tour and everyone is having a magical moment when playing this song. Anyway hope to see you next time with the original version or any other of the new singles. Btw a lot of things happened since your last reaction, one of them is they got a new official member now, say welcome to MomoMetal, we're so proud of her. See you next time 🦊🤘🌈
Babymetal needs to put out an unplugged album...Even in this simple environment, Su is still the perfect performer, with her expression and gestures... Akatsuki Unfinished is still my tear jerker from Su, but this Monochrome from First Take running a close second in terms of emotional performances....sorry No Rain No Rainbow from Legend S XX. And yes, my hopes of being the third dancer was crushed too, when they announced Momoko. She deserves it so much.😂😂😂🥲🥲🥲🤘🦊🤘
The perform/sing with such precision and you can see it on full display here and with emotion of course. Somehow the kinds of clumsy side of Suzuka shines through by bumbing her nose against the microphone shield at 4:31 🙂
I dunno but this reminds me of the times Chester Bennington of Linkin Park would sing acoustic versions of their hard songs. Their nu-metal version for the adrenaline and headbanging, but the acoustic and melodic version for deeper contemplation of the lyrics
Yes, the original version definitely has a style more typical for Babymetal and I can only recommend the accompanying lyric video to you. Should you do that, however, I also recommend you, if not already known, to briefly inform yourself about the birthplace of the dear Suzuka and what historical background the city has. Believe me, the goosebumps will return, only for a completely different reason, and you will hear this piano version here again with completely different ears. natürlich ist dieses lied sehr ergreifend wenn man bedenkt was das thema eingentlich ist und wie wundervoll su metal diesen song rüberbringt. eine art verarbeitung der atombombenabwürfe von hiroshima und nagasaki. die stimme des anlasses würdig , su metal hat mich zum weinen gebracht in anbetracht des traurigen anlasses kein wunder bei der göttlichen stimme. Of course, this song is very touching when you consider what the topic is and how wonderfully su metal conveys this song. a kind of processing of the atomic bombings of hiroshima and nagasaki. the voice worthy of the occasion, su metal made me cry considering the sad occasion, no wonder with her divine voice
once you know what this song is about it takes on a whole new meaning, it's about the survivors of the bomb in WWII dropped on Hiroshima, also I would suggest if you haven't yet checking out and doing a deep dive into XG (a Japanese girl group who trained in Korea and sing all in English) checking out all of their content (all 4 of their sings, the pre and post debut content, and the coolest thing how they came to be, because they show a side of K-pop never before seen for the fans) as they are very new like just over a year since debut and there is no question they are going to be the biggest thing to come out

" Just smile " x 100 !! !!
I am happy to have 3 versions of an amazing song !
well, bitter-sweetness is much more well-said than melancoliness✨

Su's voice is light.

You must have to watch live version 2023 at PIA Arena
Slow BabyMetal is more emotional BabyMetal.

So cute reaction!

The original lyric video is very serious. Pay close attention to the lyrics and images. Then remember Su is from Hiroshima.
