The thing about Carlin he's not really liberal and he's not really conservative. He's just really smart and tells the truth. And smarter than either party line.
My critical thinking has led me to a realization that Carlin's rants were about 50% on the mark. I always find it unnerving to see how ready and willing folks are to applaud some guy just because he is ranting on stage; whether it's a comedian or an evangelist or some soap-box philosopher. Folks are so overly impressed by someone spewing a bunch of lines in a setting where they are allowed to be uncontested.
Bernie Sanders should have used more profanity in his campaign speeches.
