Nah, he's not rolling over. He saw this era before any of the rest of us did. He knew where we were headed and tried like hell to talk sense to us. He did his part. WE'RE the ones who will have a restless afterlife. This mess is on our hands.
He would still despise both sides, but the Sissies of the New Left (neo-Marxists) would piss him off most. Trump would just be a treasure trove of ridicule.

Read a book and learn about the kinds of shit Presidents used to get up to.

Most successful well known comedians have an HBO special, some of the best even have 2 or 3, George Carlin had 17. 17 HBOs over 31 years. His first one "7 dirty words" went all the way to the Supreme Court with controversy over what is acceptable to air on television. He literally revolutionized the entertainment industry
George (as usual) is/was perceptive, honest, straight-forward, and made every effort to improve this nation. Sadly -- he passed away. His philosophy, acute thinking skills, sense of irony, wide & long range perspectives, etc. Sure brilliance! Perhaps if we can implement just a small percentage of his ideas -- our lives would improve. Bravo, George! Lying Dutchman- I would say it's his bit called: I kinda like it when alot of people die.
the most brutally honest comedian is defiantly Patrice O neal
Lying Dutchman
Agreed. I Loved it so much myself that I put it into my favorites playlist.
Man, this one was probably the harshest one I've ever heard from him. Or at least the one where he seems most angry in a sense.
James D do you have some examples? I have watched every show and interview, but didn't listen to his audios.
There was actually a walking magazine. I just researched it LOL
Nuff said, nobody can say the truth like George, RIP MAN 😢
This man's words are classic, you can listen to it 30, 50, 100 years from now - nothing' s changing
One of my all time free minded heroes. Gave me the perspective society will not hand you.
I want everyone to listen to the crowds at a Carlin show. I was watching one of his videos and as he was saying, " You don't have rights, you have owners, they own you etc..." You could hear the crowd stop laughing and just grow silent, and think. And that blew my mind. You can hear the audience go silent as he goes on with his bit. And it's awe-inspiring! Remember think for yourselves, don't follow anyone blindly, book, preacher, philosopher, anyone!!!
He is absolutely shot out of a cannon in this video. Without swearing or obscenity because he's on TV but he still manages to be ruthlessly honest and funny at the same time.
Absolute legend. It's so sad how little has been done to fix the shit he talked about his entire career.
"Your house is nothing but a pile of stuff with a cover on it", 'A place for my stuff' was his best album!!
Nearly thirty years old and still it rings true in every word, we miss you George
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! How we need his voice today. RIP good sir
George will never not be relevant, his material is timeless. True genius. Miss you big man, RIP
God, I miss the 90's.
Laura Burgett Just the right amount of technology in the world.... too much like we have these days ruined everything.
Right, imagine this on a late night show today! Wouldn’t happen!
Laura Burgett this seems to be 80’s
George Carlin was one of the most intelligent human beings to ever live. Calling him a "comedian" somehow belittles him. He was way more than that, believe that shit! R.I.P. Mr. Carlin.
NO! It's one of the most profound positions; a jester criticizing modern society.
He called himself a comedian.
He would disagree
He was funny as fuck
My sentiments are exactly..
Carlin wasn't a stand-up comedian. He was a stand-up philosopher.
Any good comedian is secretly a psychologist and a philosopher.
Come again George. The World needs you. Needs your perspective, your brutal honesty, your brilliant mind and your integrity. Oh boy.... That would be the day.
2 Rhode Islands and a Delaware devoted to golf. He's got a point.
Then discredits himself by calling Golf a racist sport. Tiger Woods? This is one of the few times I don't quite agree with Carlin, and I think this was when he was still in his angry hippie days. I'm glad he grew through that and got a little wiser.
@@quantametric tiger woods isnt black lmfao. hes a rich ass light skin
And he did all this research without Google, just to get the point across.
@@ovasov 'Woods is indeed a rich mix of racial and ethnic heritage. His father, Earl, was of African-American, Chinese and Native American descent. His mother, Kultida, is of Thai, Chinese and Dutch descent' -google (just to get the point across)
So... make a State for the homeless? Hmmm. So the homeless across america would be outlawed... and forced to live in said state? Hmmmmmm and they would live like hippies? Or what? But police still has to be incharge no doubt. How do you make sure the state doesn't become corrupted? Since most homeless are junkies or stupid and lazy....
It sounds good. But the practicality of it is off. I think logic dictates that it would end up turning into a state full of slums. Full of corruption and drug addiction.
Simply amazing. When George Carlin was on, he either reduced you to tears of laughter, gave you goosebumps, or both at the same time. I've seen this routine a hundred times, he was on that night.
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
George carlin and Robin Williams are my two favorite comedians. I miss them both a great deal.
I can only imagine Arsenio told George to let it rip. This is a mic drop moment on commercial tv.
Most likely because Arsenio highly respected George.
It saddens me that he was making these points decades before I was born; and we're STILL dealing with them today.
Carlin was Plato's philosopher king. He would've been an ideal leader in an ideal world.
I loved his take on golf. He said, " why do they walk so much ? That's too much walking. You hit the ball, walk to where it stopped, and HIT IT AGAIN ! After it stopped the first time, pick the damn thing up, put it in your pocket and go home ! 😂
this still is relevant today, he was ahead of his time. a real comedy legend.
great man.
miss him dearly.
George Carlin üstad özlenmez mi? :)
Modern genius.. you’re a legend George rip brother
Not so much intelligence, but wisdom. It wasn't so much "smart" as it
was something that a lot of people today lack: COMMON SENSE
Man on fire! A brilliant mind was George Carlin, I have most of his CD's and never tire of listening to them and always end up on the floor gasping for air!
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Jeez. George dropped it like 'no manz business' here. Full on 'Fuk em' attitude. Top man!
Theres a few folks that existed on this earth for awhile that I wish had never died. This fired up version of George Carlin is one of them.
He's one of my favorite comedians. I miss him dearly.
He's an awesome. Intelligent human being. Fearless. Always make people think.
He just comes out swinging, I love it!
Rarely seen him so amped up. Must've had a couple of drinks and a couple of lines before coming out on stage. Absolutely excellent at what he does. This country needs this guy today more than ever.
or he was just having a hot night man its not always drugs fuckin child
He was off drugs and booze when this came out.
@@roberthill799 Didn't realize that. Naturally amped up then..!
everytime I watch one of George's stand up, at some point ended up saying "holy shit he's right"
That's nearly every sentence for me
I will go as far as saying
George Carlin
Monty Python
Frank Zappa
Formed my view of the world.
In my Teens AND in my 50s.
He is a thinker a Philosopher ..
A guy so smart choosing comedy to awaken distracted hypnotised heads..
It got me thinking .. more than laughing ..
What a genius.
We need George Carlin more than ever.
We need him now the most!🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️😭😭😭👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😂😂
George Carlin,..i hope you're resting in peace. We miss you. Glad you didn't have to see the current mess we're in, even though you called far in advance.
Can't believe THIS much was said in just 6ish minutes... Amazing showman!
The fact this video has so many thumbs down shows no matter how truthful you are you cant please everyone
I think he's down there now and he's screaming up at us.
i'll answer as George would have. really? you believe the dead are in hell BELOW us?! is there anything you won't believe?
It's a quote from one of his final shows.
Johnny Lacey What's it like in your Mandela Effect universe?
I always pray to Joe Pesci he looks like a guy who can get things done.
Johnny Lacey Ah, I see. So...are there talking polar bears in your universe? Do you get an animal familiar?
A lot of people wish Carlin was still here. The best we can do is represent him in our own actions. That will be his legacy.
He would have enough material for 10,000 shows if he was alive today.
One of the most energetic standups from George 🎤💙
I’ve watched a lot of Carlin, this is the most passionate I’ve ever seen him
nah, you could tell he was holding back a bit for the sake of the talk show, listen to his album You Are All Diseased
I wonder what he would have to say about US politics as it stands today.
Probably rolling over in his grave. He was a rare gem of a guy... I fear he passed brokenhearted about his homeland.
i doubt it. He said it himself "i am emotionally not involved anymore"
Sure... and people are well known for being honest about how they really feel.
I love how kids seem to think these days are worse than it used to be. Yeah back in the 70s it was a wonderful time! Totally nothing bad to say then. And in the 70s there were kids saying, wow, it's so bad now, so much worse than the 30s!
It's almost arrogant to think that his comments are more relevant now than then. Do your research and you will see it always sucked. People seem to lazily name Trump as the source of all their problems, as if he is the worst man in the world. What a joke. Read a book and learn about the kinds of shit Presidents used to get up to.
He was ahead of his time. Carlin, you are missed. 😢
Gosh I miss this man so damn much!!
Love him. Always funny...but also ..exposing how rotten, decrepit and bankrupt the world is today. We miss you George! Thank you for opening my eyes about everything!
I agree with you, that's what he did when I listened to him he showed me the difference between the bullshit they are trying to feed us from the real shit
Only not today, always was, always will be
George looked more comfortable and happy on Arsenio than practically any other talk show he ever did.
You were too good for this world George, I am honored to have lived at the same time as you.
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
I mean, he got really famous because a lot of people like him and agree with him, yet nothing ever changes.
Because the people that like & agree with him are not in power
the crooks with power carry on increasing their power, with the help of the mainstream media
Nothing ever happens ….nothing happens at all ..the needle returns to the start of the song and we all sing along like before ..del amitri
What a legend. Enters the stage like a rockstar
Nothing has changed over the past 25 years. This guy was a prophet.
I love how the crowd is like taken back lol his delivery and his material is just straight up facts and they're like WOAH lol
0:30 "War is good for business" War is ALWAYS business ;)
We need u back man
George (as usual) is/was perceptive, honest, straight-forward, and made every effort to improve this nation. Sadly -- he passed away. His philosophy, acute thinking skills, sense of irony, wide & long range perspectives, etc. Sure brilliance! Perhaps if we can implement just a small percentage of his ideas -- our lives would improve. Bravo, George! I suspect Mark Twain and countless other thinkers of years past would have really appreciated George's insights & proclamations! Cheers from Cav! *
George Made life worth living.
