I’m glad I found your channel, I just spent about 3 hours watching your videos and now I want to do some riding keep them coming you definitely got a new subscriber
You have a LOT of mexicans followers (like me) watching your videos every week. Riding in Mexico is funny and sometimes dangerous. Makes you a different and somehow better rider. Cheers! And we'll waiting for you guys south the border.
Good work with the video. I wish we could have ridden more and shown you guys San Sebastian del Oeste as well. An excuse to come back! See you guys in Canada! Cheers!
loving the videos and im not even a mountain biker myself. You and your wife are very entertaining to watch. You are very informative and teach simple, technical, and advanced riding techniques just by describing your rides. well done sir
Of course you have fans here! Your videos are awesome! Yuka and you share the joy of riding and adventure in such a unique way that’s so compelling, hopefully your videos here in Mexico bring more people to ride here, the mtb community here would receive you with open arms. As far as Mexico City count on me and Santa Anita Mountain Bike crew to take you on some of the best trails and adventures around.
Mascota's my favorite place to ride! Tatehuichu, like you said is a mix of the old Tatema and Huihuichu trails. The name Tatema, means to grill or burn. Huihuichu trails ends at La Navidad (Christmas town) so it's a portmanteau for "We wish you...a merry xmass". Espinilluda, is because it's all pimply. At @14:57 it's the Misteriosa trail and the last trail (sorry you didn't enjoy it) is Intrepida. For those wondering about dust and leaves, it's our dryest part of the year around here, no rains until june.
Eric, I noticed that while you were in the circle and at exactly the monument you turned to the white pole that there was a hesitation in the video. I believe that time may have stood still for a moment and that you possibly were transported into another dimension. Also, how is it possible that Yuka could be standing in the circle and then suddenly not? Spooky! LOL! Thanks for another great video!
Where do you get your sick beats? haha, specifically the one at 5:15. I'm looking for something similar with that dark country/modern rock vibe for a snowmobile edit.
As you can imagine, It was a huge Surprise to run into you and Yuka in our little corner of paradise. Sorry about your hand...I've done La Misteriosa a few times, but my favorite is La Espinilluda. Congrats on your new bike, and until next time :)
Just love this trip series. Not just pure riding but local town information. Those Sharman, I also am very skeptical, probably asked for money afterwards.
Nice episode Eric! Glad to see you didn't get more of an injury from that barbed wire. I can see why you hit it since it didn't appear at all in your footage either! Stay safe out there!
I rode with Oscar too! We rode El Escorpion Trail in Puerto Vallarta a couple months ago and he joined in. You always have interesting experiences riding in Mexico!
would be sweet to hear or read what tires are working best on the different trails. maybe you already have that somewhere? i will check eventually:) great videos!
Yep. I only needed to look at Eric' s posture and I instantly knew that. Eric has to lose that rigidness somehow and sadly biking is not enough. If I was him I would do a lot of swimming, playing teamsports or dancing. And of course training the mind but for that nobody has a 'recipe'.
Another classic Eric! I feel like I've seen this before, but I'm not sure where....oh wait! lol My opinion... this with like some Travel MTB Channel stuff! Solid work as always!
Glad you're okay ! One time, one of my friend hit a wire in a field at a pretty high speed and it was so bad ! Your videos are so cool ! Good night form Switzerland !
Yuka is super funny "YOU JUST WENT STRAIGHT" then sees the blood and looses it! BUT a run in with BARB WIRE WHILE BIKING you fared well. Glad yall are G2G.
also you have fans in chile my friend and i can bet in all south america :) in fact today with my friend where talking about yuka's impresive jumping skills :) cheers! from chile!
dude, are you surprised to have fans in mexico? you have at least my 25 friends here in chile jajaja!! :D :D U should Come and ride andes-pacifico with us next year!!
Love the Mexico trip, and barbed wire sucks except for those who need it for livestock. We have some property on a rails to trails, and a neighbor kept stringing barbwire across the trail in protest to the trail. Nasty stuff if you don't watch out.
At 9:35 minutes into the video where Eric is stating his name to the pillars look at the base of the pillars at there is an energy release. Interesting indeed!
I think you guys did a great job showing the trails in Mexico and very brave I shld say, where most foreigners wont go. I like the fact that you ride Santa Cruz but I think your next bike will be something different.
I recently changed the color profile on my monitor so perhaps this is a contributing factor, but does anyone else think that the color of the blood looks rather strange? It looks like slightly neon, slightly orange, and slightly pink to me (none of which is at-all common for blood, although it still has red color but very strange color). I think it must be a video filter or lens or lighting thing or something. That, plus the changed color profile on my monitor maybe affected it _a bit_ but not much.
Mshojat it wasn’t his blood, there is a Mexican brand disinfectant called Meltiolate that stains the skin neon pink that is why he also couldn’t rub it off. It is a first aid antibiotic and disinfectant that stains the skin for like 3 days, that is what the trail guide probably used but he just didn’t film it. I recognize the color.
That wire incident was scary. Glad it wasn’t worse. How about the music? This is some of the best tunes I’ve heard in your vids, and I would love to find the songs you had. Even SoundHound let me down on this one.
@@spotserafin Lol. Bad "karma" for not believing in a false God? Shamanism is garbage. This isn't the place to be discussing this, so if you wanna chat privately about spiritual matters pm me and we'll talk.
Nice video! That remember me that I need to put my third Tetanus doss this June! Barbwire is a NO NO in my brain...I´m always very careful but just a moment and you can mess yourself very badly. Put that tetanus,it is a must if you travel/bike/or work with metal. First doss is OK,but second one (3 months later) let me like ill like flu for 3 days, the third one is next June and I´m full cover for another few years.
Definitely a must for what they are doing. In my country we had a tetanus shot with 10 years long effect. I can't remember if I got sick or my immunity was altered in any way. It helped me a lot because I was doing some outdoor volunteering work at that time.
I just subscribed to your channel and your fan declared me and if I am from Mexico greetings I hope to learn to ride a bike as well as you and your wife
Ohh yea !.. I remember the freaking barb wire ..I was riding with friends ,I had a BMX bike at the time and someone had put barb wire across the road..needless to say I went OTB and landed on my back ..I was sore for days ..
yep you got fans in mexico!
1:57 well, you even got a Dutch fan. It's juist a bit far for me to swim.
