It seemed like a very disappointing first ride. Sorry about that. For me, nothing beats the excitement of pushing a new bike to test limits. That placebo "new bike effect" that makes you step up your ride!
This is one of my favorite trails at South Mountain, super fun. I've never ridden Eliminator but if you like the trails that run along the ridge, Ridgeline is another one that is really good!
Nice! I live 15 minutes from South Mountain and ride National just about every weekend. Cool to see you were here! Let me know whenever you'll be back!!
I'm loving the light aqua, pink, sandy orange colours along with the occasional saturated yellow in the bushes and blue of the sky. It looks fantastic!
I have a 2017 Cannondale cujo 27.5+ Changed the brakes to hope monos and have just put a set of Fox 34s 150mm longer travel that's recommend but it's transformed the bike, I knew there was something more that would make good bike a great bike.
super cool vid man. wow very tech but manageable. i love 29ers as well but my fav bike is my old 26er. love your riding style . Very relaxed and natural. Thanks for the adventure!!
Is the rebound abnormally loud on the new fork or still needs some tuning? I enjoy the sound normally but feel it could be draining mentally to have the sound constantly.
@@HenrichHostak I actually like that rebound sound, and I think Suntour is in top of all forks. For me, anoying the sound of loud hubs!!! Specially the ones that sound like honeycombs, or like the monster from Lost.
I feel one reason you may have not gotten along with the Nomad may have been because it really is designed for shuttle laps / DH Parks. The Range i feel is a smidgen less aggressive and far better suited for the riding you do. Technical, steep, slow and tight yeah the Nomad can do it as you have proven bit not its intended design. I look forward to seeing you progress with the norco 🤘
How's the Suntour suspension performing other than the rebound noise? Looking to buy a Giant Trance equipped with that and I'm a bit uncertain. The ride looks awesome, the "Eliminator" loop seems like an amazing group ride!
I'm curious to hear what you think of the riding position with 29er wheel size for slow and very steep technical descents. I found the riding position excellent for fast stuff when testing the range29 (mtbr.com), feels very centered (so more forward than many bikes), especially high speed chunky stuff. The bike railed!
Really confused me that up on the map was south. I thought you were riding west on National but then I kept seeing features of riding east on National.
Oh hell no been waiting for this first ride vid all week and not one mention of new suspension you dont get away that easy what your first honest impressions good, bad or mediocre it seemed to handle everything quite well
anyone else think they missed a golden opportunity to call the feature "infinity stones" instead of "figure eight" ? You know cause infinity and 8 is kind of the same, and the terrain is rocky??
Great Riding on the new bike! That little oops @12:00 reminded me just how short one's time can be here on earth. So it's great to be sure of one's destiny after death before it gets to that time. What will it profit a man if he should gain the whole world yet lose his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? - Mark 8:36-37. Romans 3:23 puts it very succinctly - All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God - and verse 24 gives the remedy: "and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Romans 6:23 re-emphasizes that point - The wages of sin is death - but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So if one hasn't made right with God yet, remember this - by default we are all on the way to hell because we have all sinned. The only way to get right with God is to be or become as sinless and righteous as He Himself is. Nothing less will do. But therein lies the problem -we have already sinned and there is no way to earn our way back to God - no amount of good deeds or good living can earn us eternal life in the presence of God. That's the BAD news. The GOOD news is that if we confess our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and saviour because He paid the price for our sins on the cross, then God is righteous and just and will forgive our sins. This can only happen if we exchange our sinful lives for the righteousness that comes as a result of Jesus' sinless life. Nothing else is acceptable for God. Only Jesus' righteousness is good enough, after all Jesus Himself is in nature also God - God the Son. Accept Jesus and be justified in the eyes of God - the free gift - then REPENT of one's sinful living ( the major sin is rejecting God ) - lying, stealing, being angry at and unforgiving of others, looking at a woman (or man in the case of a female) with lust etc. etc. Jesus is the only way to God - no one comes to the Father except thru Him. Not thru Buddha, Mohammed or any other known god or prophet.
Mr Avocado Man yeah, after riding atvs for years before getting into mtb I didn’t want to take the risk on my hands after learning that lesson a few times.

I was riding over there yesterday!
RUclips problem yesterday. I explain it a little on my community page
It seemed like a very disappointing first ride. Sorry about that. For me, nothing beats the excitement of pushing a new bike to test limits. That placebo "new bike effect" that makes you step up your ride!
Love the visor cam shots mixed in..... gives realistic perspectives around those tight switchbacks. Good stuff!
That was sweet!! That first one you rode is so much more gnarly in real life, holy moly. Macky killed that thing when I rode with him.
As he would do!

Looks like the bike is well within the range of capabilities you will expect of it!
Excellent vid and new bike preview. Get it dialed in and show it off. BTW, where do you get your music?
Wow, what a cool place to test the new bike !
Surprize Toyz Collector
Muy bueno, sigue dándole fuerte, un saludo desde España.

This is normal sound for suntour :( so annoying
@@HenrichHostak Good to know. Thx.
It’s driving me bonkers. :)
I find the sound is less once you add 10cc of oil to each lower, and open it up a bit. I love mine now!

Was this on a weekend? I want to ride there but looks so crowded I want to try for a weekday.
Nice to see you back on red 29er
Nice Eric. Soon the new rig will feel as normal as your right hand 😊👍🏽 and then you can really GET RAD!

Great place to ride, awesome video!
You made the waterfall look like nothing, but you missed some hard tech by turning onto Mormon Loop.

Epic riding
I know how yuka feels i sprained my ankle today but still gonna send it hard at fort William next week lop
You look at home on that range👍
Another big difference between the bikes is the wheelbase
Nice ride 👍🚴♂️
Bars looked off (first ride) a couple of mm's to the left i.e. bring em right 2mm's ;-)
Probably going to get really hot soon during the day?

Hey BCpov I live in Tucson az I have the shockwiz for your suspension come get you new whipp set up and need out on the awesome technology

Really confused me that up on the map was south. I thought you were riding west on National but then I kept seeing features of riding east on National.

Hi I love you
Listening to that suspension is a cringe and a half
Hahaha downgrade the house to a van to bike more - > downgrades bike as well
