Game Description:

In case you didn't get it, the baby in the ending is Laura vanderboom aka the woman from seasons/etc aka the reincarnation of William vanderboom from Roots and the guy you find in the clock. The game and the term samsara in general symbolize the cycle of life and rebirth

Decided to play this real quick before watching the video.
I really enjoyed this one. I expected it to get super scary but it actually had more of a hopeful feeling to it. That is until you realize who the baby is

Seriously tho, heavy spoilers.
...is the reincarnation of William Vanderboom, formerly a corrupted soul and brother of Aldous Vanderboom, aka Mr. Crow. Together, they created the elixir of life and death, which caused William's death and Aldous ascencion. This all goes according to Samsara, the circle of life, death and rebirth, and the six stages of its' wheel: Hell (the Lake itself), Hungry Ghosts (the corrupted souls), Animals (like fish, birds, etc.), Humans (self explanatory), Demons (the likes of Mr. Crow) and Gods (unknown, though sometimes represented by an owl, probably Mr. Owl, but I'm not sure). William became a corrupted soul after dying, but through his family's sacrifices, he was reborn as a baby, his great-grandniece Rose Vanderboom's daughter, Laura Vanderboom. The eponymous Woman, who committed suicide due to depression and became a corrupted soul (stonks, right?).
And I'm stopping here, there is much more.
Remember when Mr. Crow was the most mysterious creature in these games? Good times man, good times. And they keep building up the story, too!
Good times indeed. And the corrupted souls were the biggest threat in the series... well, I mean, they still kinda are.
I thought the scrambled letters spelled "HI GENTLEMEN" right up until you solved it 😭 Technically I'm not wrong!
When I played the game, that's exactly what I spelled! And I didn't know that something was supposed to happen when you get it right (I thought it was just a clue for something?), so it wasn't until I went to a walk-through that I saw the right answer and what was supposed to happen. Then I began to move forward. (My first time ever doing any kind of game like this!)
you've done too many hard puzzles that you've started to overthink things

I saw you tweet this out and went to immediately play it. It's funny to me how much my reactions and thought process on some of the puzzles were the same as yours. You broke out a notepad and pen at the exact same moment I did. It's amusing how this series of games has trained us all in some way. That bubble puzzle and the one with the eggs. Woof. I'm still not entire sure about those two. I died laughing at the part with the sunflower. Great video as always.
Bubbles, you just go left to right. Birds, you pick the one with the newest feature.
I got stuck three times. Once when I couln't figure out how the pickle worked, once when I had finished the book puzzle, but I had done solved it the wrong way. I thought the marble was the reward, but it wasn't. I had to use the walkthrough for that book puzzle, looks like you solved it the same way I did, maybe it just glitched out for me. Last time I got stuck was because in the egg room, with the day and night cycle, I got stuck when I didn't realise you could click on the clouds.
So yeah, nonsensical puzzles, typical Rusty Lake, but still fun.

I love Rusty Lake but I never have the patience to go through an entire escape room😂😂
I know I keep asking questions like what if I did this? Or what if I brought that? And then I mess up my entire game and my inventory is not as orderly as I like it to be and then I rage quit and reset and then come back two minutes later with intentions to “do the game right and perfect”and then we start the cycle all over again

Thank you for this. I was stuck and had no idea what to do. You got me through this and I had to pause a few times to do puzzles myself, and when I was stuck, you got me through!
What was the point of the scale and that weight? It was even a clue and nothing came of it
It gave you the weight of the objects, and you use these weights in conjunction with another clue to discover another time.
It bothered me that you didn’t drag things in the beginning😂
