    We Indians eat fennel seeds after dinner or lunch . You could say its just tradition so whenever everyone sit together after finishing dinner ( because for lunch nobody's at home) then thar fennel seeds bottle or jar circulate among us . We chat and share our whole day experiences. In India fennel seeds water given to small kid( above 6 months) having gas or stomach problems it relieves gas or stomachache problems. After my delivery my mom used to give me fennel seeds after dinner she said if you chew these seeds then baby won't be having any gas or stomachache ( as below 6 months baby only depends on mother's milk)

    It's very nice of you that you are advising to consume fennel seeds. Since ages most of us Indians have been using it after meals mainly for digestion and not to have bad odour in mouth. Sometimes It is prepared with other ingredients like sesame seeds, flaxseeds etc, by roasting everything. The mixture itself is called MukhVaas meaning odour remover of mouth. (Mukh=mouth and Vaas=odour)
    Other important benifit of fennel seeds is it is the best remedy for heat stroke in tropical and hot countries, by preparing a cold drink from it.

    Fennel seeds are also great for prostate inflammation if boiled for not more than 2 minutes, in the middle east it's called sweet seed, we do not add any sweetener while preparing it as tea, Indians consume Fennel with Cardamon and crystallised sugar after eating and we learned that from them, a good habit, great report, thanks

    I eat them raw every day. Sleep has improved incredibly. How about the fennel bulbs from the plant? Are there any benefits to eating fresh fennel bulbs roasted, in salad or in soup? They’re very delicious too! ❤❤❤

    • @IncrediblyHealthy
      @IncrediblyHealthy  9 месяцев назад +5

      That's amazing that eating fennel seeds raw has helped improve your sleep! The fennel bulbs can also provide health perks when eaten fresh. Roasting brings out their natural sweetness, while adding them raw to salads and soups gives a nice crunchy texture and licorice-like flavor. The bulbs have fiber, potassium, vitamin C and antioxidants. They may aid digestion, reduce bloating and help regulate blood pressure. Incorporating fresh fennel bulbs along with the seeds can boost overall nutrient intake. Thanks for sharing your experience! 💚

      Great question! Based on the research, 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds per day seems to be a safe and effective amount for most healthy adults. Consuming more than that may potentially cause side effects like digestive upset. I like to add about 1 tsp of fennel seeds to my morning smoothie or overnight oats. You can also make a nice strong cup of fennel tea with 1 tsp of crushed seeds. Hope this helps provide a guideline on dosage! Let me know if you have any other questions. 🍵💚

    Your introduction could not be more wrong. Fennel seeds were grown in India, during the spice trade it was introduced to the Greeks and later to west Europe. In India fennel seeds are consumed after meals to enhance and balance the digestion and reduces gas production in the intestines, additional it also freshen mouth and breath and kills the aftertaste of some foods, It is also dipped in sweet syrup which helps reduce sugar cravings after meals , less fat and sugar from deserts makes it a good tool to reduce caloric intake and reduce weight.

    This video is entirely too long for the little information it offers. Not helpful. No one cares about the history of fennel. Long, tedious, boring click bait.

    Oh...did I laugh at the idiocy of it all. I could say it's sad, but to be so damned delusional! I mean this 'I identify as' crap! Someone sure is getting some power out of it all. As for the Eagle at the end...that one finished this video off nicely ha ha ha!
