Israeli human rights group B’Tselem : “In February and March 2024, B'Tselem documented some 20 incidents in which Israeli settlers and soldiers drove Palestinian shepherds out of pastureland in the South Hebron Hills, using various means. These incidents are part of a deliberate pattern of settler actions meant to promote Israel's policy of expulsion, crucially affecting the survival of these communities. The State of Israel is working to drive Palestinian pastoral communities out of their homes in the West Bank in order to take over their areas of habitation, including farmland and pastureland, and use them for its own purposes.

Homes were usually demolished at night without residents being given any advance warning. The homes destroyed by security forces belonged to Palestinians who were not suspected of any involvement in causing harm to Israeli civilians or security forces. They were given no opportunity to plead their case before any instance and received no compensation for the damage they sustained. This policy of collective punishment inflicted lasting harm on thousands of people.
This policy constitutes collective punishment, which is prohibited and violates binding provisions of international law.

Arab leaders have an amazing opportunity to gain the support of THE PEOPLE in the West. The people don’t want this - but pull the marbles out of your mouth! Put someone on tv that can speak properly. Being able to communicate and debate, in English, is important in this world. It’s ridiculous, but it just is. Putting some old guy up there with a thick accent that bumbles along the interview, is a terrible showing for any country.
