- Finally had some time to spend on the caddy, led bulb upgrade and a few small touches to the front end. another good turn out at the bluewater monthly meet & greet.

59 yo here ,been a mechanic for 37 years plus, been a mobile mechanic for 12 years plus . Just purchased my 1st caddy ,ex British gas tro on 15 plate . It's the 1.6 . But even with all my gear in it ,it still pulls like a train . absolutely love it . this channel really is a channel that stands out from most . fantastic work, and a beautiful selection of vans/show stoppers/ideas
Hello, My dads Caddy is at timestops 17.22 and 18.10, he just had the new hybrid front bumper fitted with lime green. His name was Paul Bentley, Sadly Dad passed away peacefully last weekend in hospital. I was wondering if you may have had any more footage of my dad or of my dad's Caddy, as moments like you have captured are very sentimental to me, I thank you for including my dad's Caddy within this video as it's something I will have forever. I'm looking to finish the van as that was one of the things he wanted. My dad loved the meets and I'm looking to bring it down to the next one. Thanks for the great content as I will be following along on your channel journey!
Hey Yasmin oh I’m so sorry 😢 I remember your dad we spoke for a while at the last meet he came to. Such a nice guy he was so proud of his new front bumper and for good reason it’s super nice. I’ll have to hunt through my videos to see what I have and I will of course send them to you. I’ve just mentioned your comment on the caddy chat page and everyone sends there condolences and spoke highly of him. If you come to the next caddy meet , come and find me I will introduce you to everyone and rally up pictures we have. I have a mk5 golf plus GT Sport with audi s line wheels it’s a good base line project I’ve rebuilt the turbo has I had limp mode due to carbon build up I’ve done a few deletes here n there and new timing belt and pump it’s a good motor I’ve always had VW vehicles but not had a caddy yet and I want one now more than ever love your V. Dub man 👍
Hey Josh I had a mk5 golf before this and I loved it I only replaced it with the caddy to get my fishing gear in. Caddy drives similar to the caddy just with a big boot. Thanks for the comment mate 👍

Would love to see you build a set of custom taillights. Headlights have always looked banging on this form of face, but the taillights let the arse down. I think a custom build on the taillights would complete it nicely

What’s popping?!?! A little red Caddy is! Gutted to be away in Turkey (liar) so couldn’t attend the meet. Headlights look mint with the “blacquer”, I need some of that in my life! Keep smashing the content buddy.
Hey Kyle thank you sir hope your holiday is all good 👍 is bloody raining here. Yes the meet was good a few new faces. Blacquer takes a couple hours to go off so depending on how long your here we might be able to do something.

Hey Thomas is that the name of the colour? So you have the newer shape? I do like the look of them never drive one. The few I’ve seen up close the rear badge seems to be slightly wonky to the left, might be wrong thow. Appreciate the comment sir 👍👍
I’m the same I park at the empty end of a car park to avoid it being dinged but someone’s always parked right next to you when you come back 😂

Oh mate I worry abit much about the van the mrs knows when we go somewhere I drive round twice looking for a good spot and your so right you park miles away and someone still parks next to you 😩. Thanks mate 👍 I’m looking forward to getting back to the T5 to.
The slide-out telescopic storage units in the back were a bit clever. And the mini panoramic glass roof very clever too. The white one with the roof box must have been on air ride set-up I am guessing. You could get proper geeky with the owners and get them talk you through what mods they’ve done how different mods are achieved. Then again, not everyone wants to be on camera do they? Good vid again. And Sam’s photo editing looks sweet!
Hey B-RY 👍 yes and yes those storage things where smart space savers and I do like the glass roof. That white one did sit low I’ll check for air ride next month. Some people enjoy cameras some don’t but I guess I could ask them before hand then fire a few questions on camera. Good shout 👍

He has the golf 7.5 hybrid bumper on the front 👍
To convert caddy 2k to the 2018 caddy bumper wings bonnet and did you say doors as well
Yes doors are needed to upgrade to mk4 aswel as wings bonnet bumper headlights etc.
