If all the teachers would have been like you, I would have been a Nobel Laureate.

I listen and watch your videos even when I'm not working Grasshopper

This is the correct way to appreciate grasshopper stuff - from a distance, never opening the program yourself.

its beautiful to watch such a peaceful and healing video, I hope making it felt like watching it. I personally have reached the point of burnout myself to the degree of losing that itch I used to scratch with doodling then carving then gluing. it is inspiring to watch you just kick back and make something as simple as a lamp then build an intimate and meaningful context around it. I understand that teaching may be draining for some creative people, but I hope you know that you are seen. this video is you teaching, good teachers show you how to do something but great ones remind you why you do it. of all "teachers" I see online, you have been the most refreshing, your passion for what you is infectious and I promise that the right students will have something to take away from every video even its just you making stuff. keep on rocking!
    p.s: nice machine!

Hey Gediminas, long time follower and you inspired me to become a teacher as well, i manage now my own working space for architecture model building at a huge University. Thank you for the Inspiration over the years :)

lovely lamp, i would just use a longer bulb instead to fill the fatty part of the cover. it just feels a bit empty, other than that its a lovely lamp and the vid ilustrates the workflow of design in a simple and clear way.

I completely agree. And also not just the form of the bulb, but the power as well, right now it's just slightly too bright, toning it down to 320lm or even 240lm would be much better

Hello Gediminas. Is it possible for you to make us a tutorial on grasshopper for how to make 3d model into a laser cut file (like by using opennest perhaps?) using grasshopper?

Thank you so mutch🖤 for these great videos, I've been watching them for many years. I live in Germany and want to become a designer. I have a request. Can you explain to your views under the perspective setting in Rhino how to create new views? maybe in a new video

Wow amazing! How did you set up the tolerance to make it glue free?

Thanks! I cut a few small test rectangles with cuts at different tolerances to see which one fits the best before cutting the final piece :)
