- Moment of truth. I tried SpoiledChild Liquid Collagen for 2 and 1/2 months now (3 bottles). I've been using the Spoiled Child E27 Extra Strength Liquid Collagen and my goal was to gain thickness in my hair. I wasn't expecting "Long" hair but just thicker hair. So in this spoiled child collagen review I shared my thoughts and reasons for why I won't be continuing the product.

Okay I just finished watching going your red ❤light therapy video and I noticed you had an another link for a different type of collagen. I realize that your previous collagen had like 6 or 7 types.. which one do you truly like the best? Sounds like the spoiled child helped your hair grow and your skin is gorgeous. Thanks in advance 💛
@D2DRants hi there sorry late response Thanks for watching it n for the compliment !! but so i still use the dr emil pills but was trying out spoiled child.. since spoiled child is so darn expensive i went back to just taking the collagen pills

@donnaarsenault5657 i feel like i got the same results taking my collagen pills as these expensive bottles.
My hair started growing when I started taking better care of it. That's generally why most women hair isn't thick long and healthy. They're wearing cornrows that pull at the roots as well as hair isn't meant to be tightly intertwined and thus, it dries out and is deprived of much needed oxygen and moisture. Constant wearing of wigs is another factor. Hair needs oxygen to breathe. Detangling using a thick creamy product like *Suave Keratin Infusion* conditioner works wonders. Cover it (with a smooth scarf or bonnet) before laying down and do not allow it to rub up against pillow cases, the friction rubs and breaks off the hair. Its really not that difficult to grow hair and nails. It just takes paying attention to and not doing the things that impedes its growth.

I bought a bottle and still haven't opened it, thinking about returning it for one main reason - and it wasn't originally about the product itself. Its how many negative reviews I've been seeing about customers being overcharged for bottles, and bottles (subscriptions for more bottles) they hadn't ordered yet.
This is a very expensive product. I was just like you, I was extremely intrigued by this product and got sucked right in with advertising! I agree, for the price you should be seeing incredible results by the 3rd bottle. I don't want youtube taking my comment down for misleading information, this isn't saying its a scam or anything. But I do not want to risk being overcharged for a product I now have reservations on trying..
I know for some, the powdered collagen products may be off putting and sound gross. But I've been using powdered collagen for a few years and definitely seen alot of improvements with nail strength, hair growth and skin benefits. I think your best bet is going with a more affordable powdered collagen, be sure to stay hydrated with water (make that your main drink of the day) cut back on alcohol if you drink, cut back sugar and try to eat a good balanced diet.
Incorporate things like bone broth, that have collagen in it. Animal fats definitely show in your skin vibrancy ✨️
Eating a good diet, plenty of water, less sugar and less alcohol...all those things will naturally boost your appearance and your skin. I know easier said than done but little positive changes do wonders. May possibly give you the improvements you're hoping for in a collagen product like this one.
I think I may stick with my powdered collagen, I use the Live Conscious and Great Lakes brands and pretty happy with them
The spoiled child advertising definitely sucked me in though lol i can't lie.
By the way, I think your skin is gorgeous! But whats most important is the changes you notice in yourself and your own satisfaction in a product you are trying out. You definitely should feel a wow factor with this after 3 bottles for the price!
Im sure it works for many, but there's no product out there that works the same for everyone.

But im really curious in trying the mary ruth liquid hair vitamin. although that's definitely another expensive one but people are raving about it
@ASSEENBYSB I've been using the regular Mary Ruth Morning liquid Multivitamin for about a year now and happy with it beyond it being kind of pricey. It's definitely worth my repurchase. Haven't tried any of the other vitamins from Mary Ruth
Thank you for your honest review. I was considering buying the product but now I’m not gonna buy it because I noticed when I just use Jamaican black castor oil and stop putting a lot of heat on my hair and do roller sets and eat healthy and drink a lot of water. my hair is growing, really thick and long on top of that. I did the big chop and that really helped a lot.

Thanks for the review. Even if my hair doesnt grow fast, i would love the skin benefits. I was worried about them sending out used bottles though since people can send the product back.

This company, and many others, just know they’re selling “liquid gold.”
So they’d rather have their product back and dispose of it, rather than you getting your $$ back AND still enjoy the product and its benefits.
If they were reselling used products, people would be catching transferable diseases from the brand, and then catch a major lawsuit. Most companies in the US know better
Im giving a try , i did the trial. I'm sure I will see some benefits from it. But we will see if I continue to use, I know genetics. Play a huge factor in how supplements help everyone. But I'll keep you posted. I am a new follower of yours.

The grocery outlet has a liquid collagen for 8.00.ive been taking it for 2 yrs.i recently ordered spoiled child and noticed a reduction in my joint pain and stiffness in 48 hrs. It is costly, but so is a chiropractor visit. New sub and thank u for ur review!

I'm on my second bottle . I bought mines for bloating and skin, and it's truly does work. I think it depends the person and there goals. It also help ke be regular if you know what I mean. It's is expensive but for me it's worth it.

Okay, thanks so much for letting me know. I was drawn to Spoiled Child because a lot of collagen products contain biotin. Biotin makes my blood pressure elevate, and the headaches that come with it are horrendous. I looked into the Dr. Emil, you talked about, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn it doesn't contain Biotin either!!! I need collagen for my bones and joints, so if it doesn't make my hair grow, that's cool. Thanks for the review!!

hi there thanks for watching.. so 1 bottle didn't last 1 month because i was taking the 2 shots a day instead of 1..as far a gut health nothing totally noticeable but i was regular i guess ;).. as for my skin i cant really give this credit only because i use red light therapy on my skin and that's helped my skin well before this.

Thank you. So glad I watched this review. Wanted to know what the hype was all about. And FYI, marine collagen is the most essential. My hair was stagnant until I added that to my daily routine. I drink Dr. V collagen. Her products are formulated specifically for people of color.

I was going to try it but this review helped me decide to save my money as well what helped my hair grow long fast was Rice water with flax seed oil and I would buy shea butter black castor oil shampoo wich is a holy Grail! The only thing about rice water is the smell so essential oil like orange or mint is encouraged to mixed with it and prolong use can dry your hair so hair mask conditioning once a week is recommended too ❤

I liked it, but the price was too much for me to continue after about 2 months. It was easy to be consistent because it tasted good, so that was really smart of them. I noticed my skin was clear, glowing, my hair seemed nourished, but I can't tell if it was solely due to the collagen since I was using it in conjunction with a lot of other things along with diet change. I think its worth a shot if you're curious.

I think @luveep5312 means that your face looks "plump" in the sense that collagen helps with aging and skin sagging. For instance, as we age, our cheeks may start to look like they're sagging or we can get sharp features. This is because we are losing collagen, but looking fuller just means your face looks younger, not that you gained weight.

Just finished my first bottle and I've noticed a change in my skin, nails, hair. I'm not comfortable with the artificial flavors/colouring and what possible side effects it might have in the future, so I'm very indecisive about my second bottle.
Any advice?
that's a fair point for sure n something others have brought up as well. n like u mentioned the product actually does work i just thought with the hype of how much it works that it would do a little better.. but if that's a concern long term u should likely stop.

Like this one is def not tailored for hair but for skin. That’s why your hair didn’t grow but your skin did.

so i actually did end up trying the trufolix n looov that one for sure.. definitely got results.. but id have to disagree.. this one is also for hair.. its for skin n hair because i did get results from this hair wise but it just wasn't as prominent as i would hv wanted for that price
I’m on my 5th bottle
I finally cancelled so this will be my last one.
I’m sure it’s working somn… and the collagen has def helped with me getting increased protein… but I feel like I haven’t seen the results I was expecting. I have grown hair in some thinning spots but mainly grays (which I don’t mind - but gray hair isn’t as strong and I thought some of the side effects would be hair gray hair returning to color at the root??) still see some fine lines… nails… currently a bit of a struggle.
Now! There was a time I was super consistent - everyday without fail but after awhile I was like… meh. So maybe it’s user error or maybe there’s just no magic fix !
I will keep taking collagen (powder) I can usually catch it on sale at Sam’s and sometimes TJ Maxx and I just mix it in yogurt or apple sauce etc
For context I’m mid-30s, natural… 4b and some 4c hair, work out regularly. Started in March and I finally cancelled. On bottle 5 & I’m doing 2 tablespoons

yes it did help, I was about to buy a bottle. Ryze coffee did it for me. so from now on i will research every product on youtube.

I had been using it for over a year regularly, but, to me, it tastes very disgusting. I hate mango/mango flavoring, so l switched to pineapple, which is only marginally better. I've presently got 2 or 3 bottles in the fridge. It did help my skin, & l was taking 2T/daily, but it just tastes too gross.

but so i do hate however since this video i had a dag on set back because of a product (hair fertilizer grease) that really damaged my hair of the side ughh😩
but at least now that will give me an opportunity to try out other products to see how quickly it will grow it back.
also the only thing regarding the skin is i do red light therapy everyday and i love what red light does for the skin.. so its helpful having both♥️
Be patient! Supplements restore vital things before hair, skin and nails. Overall, you look very healthy. Whatever product you decide to use consider that it takes 6 months to a year to see real progress on the outside.
Also, what kind of red light are you using? Do you have a video?
Yes that is definitely a great point I guess I just kind of got spoiled I had a few supplements that I took where in a month I definitely saw some noticeable difference so I think I was expecting a lot from this since they kept promoting how fast you would see a difference.. but yes I have a video of the Red Light Panel that I use I love using this I try to use it almost every night here's the video I did❤️🚨

I never tried it but thought about it.. but, since I started using the mushrooms coffee with collagen I never did.. sO have yOu ever tried the powder version
yea im just torn because with it being extra strength I just feel it should work faster.. so ironically while i was at Walmart today i decided to try the powder version of vital protein collagen so ill see how that works for me 👍🏾👍🏾
Lol, yOu would have thought after seeing big results from the first start of using it was sO promising, the time span you have been using it, would have been more beneficial.. it’s almost like it maxed out already & that price tag is very nice @ 50/45 dollars a bottle lol

I haven’t been using mine long enough I don’t think lol I take it for benefits on mY joints since I exercise & I’m not getting no younger last time I checked.. that Mary Ruth I saw a few times B4 I came across yOur page about Collagen & never thought about it anymore.. You used it for only 2.5 months? No offense, but that's not enough follow-up time. Research the hair-growth rate of the type of hair you have. I say give the product 6 months. You should have taken before pictures.
hi there so ill have to disagree there. only because theres other collagen products ive used before and got noticeable results in 1 month. i mentioned that I didn't say it doesn't work but based on the rate that i got results from much cheaper products it's not worth the price..

Are you still using the virgin hair fertilizer? I already ordered the pills! I'm just curious if the grease also effected your previous results.
@bittypie hi there the pills are definitely a go.. u will get results regardless👍🏾👍🏾but so funny u ask abt the fertilizer.. i don't know if they may have changed their formula but the last time i used it i want to say it kinda broke my hair off.. i cant say if it was that exactly but i hadnt used it in a while then when i started using it again my hair felt different 😬

I just checked, its because they added all this extra sht to it!! The gummies & a serum!! I actually love the serum, very very much. It doesnt cause me to break out, & its good for my sensitive/acne prone/ combination skin. The collagen drink tho, had me going to the bathroom!! A cheaper version of this stuff tho is, using castor oil. Ppl will drink a tablespoon of castor oil once a month. & it helps with the stuff this collagen does. So im deff gonna try it b4 renewing this collegen drink

Don't waste your time. It tastes like sugar, and there are less expensive ways to get your collagen backed by proper science.
For example, Cymbiotika is a great company. It's a bit pricey, but their products work and make sense.
As for Spoil Child, DO NOT BUY. I don't like this company's practices. I never agreed to an order and postponed it because I still had product. Despite this, they shipped it without my approval. It feels like a scam to place an order when I never wanted or requested an auto-refill. I'm in the process of waiting till the product arrives and getting a refund.

@@marky7802 They said they were making a one time exception and I have that in writing through email/ going to fully refund me. It's been past 10 days now. And yet I have to see this reflected in my bank account as it's been 15 days now. I plan on checking with my bank then I'll be following up with Spoil child on where my two refunds are. Overall, don't even bother buying because they are not easy in giving these refunds. Don't do the trial run because even though they say they don't charge full price right away they fully do. Avoid, any company with marketing like this.

@@ASSEENBYSB ya I said that arrogantly, yes its expensive for the crappy ingredients and artificial crap in it I just use 100% organic grass fed collagen peptides works better than anything I’ve ever had before and I tried it all this stuff is only $15 for 14 day supply. Tho really all you need to do is go carnivore organic and grass fed beef and pasture eggs that will cure almost anything g!
