    I agree that the bad taste of ACV is best masked by combining it with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and using it as a Salad Dressing. I sprinkle a layer of Nutritional Yeast Flakes on top of the Salad, then add ACV and EVOO to it. The Nutritional Yeast absorbs them and keeps the vinegar and oil from pooling at the bottom of the Salad. It is also a great source of B-Complex Vitamins. 👍

    I make my own pickles by cutting fresh-picked cucumber spears, immersing them in white vinegar 5% (with pickling spices added)
    BUT THEN ---
    I pull a hard vacuum on the jar twice in a row, with a 5-minute Interval between pumping.
    This causes ALL the air spaces in the spears to be replaced with the brine solution by infusion, increasing the brine concentration, meaning MORE acetic acid inside the pickle (plus, it takes me only 10 minutes to create a jar of shelf-stable pickles).

    I drink 1 Table spoon ACV with a tall glass of water. This I find bearable and extremely beneficial. My migraine headaches have almost completely disappeared! My kidney stone symptoms disappeared with in 12 of starting ACV the very first time, Its because of those symptoms and drinking ACV that I discovered by accident that ACV is very effective at minimising the chance of migraine head aches. This has just been my experience. I hope you give ACV a chance too.

    In india , we make our own vinegar from different veggies nd let me tell you it is way more Superior to ACV ( taste and smell) and we have it 1-2 tbsp every now and then with our lentils and curry .we drink ginger in our tea twice daily with many other herbs . Didnt knew we are way ahead of science in our eating habits.😍

    I've been taking these gummies for a month or so and have lost at least 7-8 pounds. I have been working hard at it but they do work! The one's I have are 1000mg ACV and I only take them once a day. But I am convinced after looking more into it that I can get the same or better effect from real ACV but right now since I already paid the money and the weight is coming off I'm going to finish the bottle before switching to straight ACV. I can certainly do without the sugar and the high price.

  • @jlangeles23

    Great analysis, Dr. Ekberg! (Sticking to the norm on this channel 😀). Such a coincidence, before watching this video my wife asked me about a bottle of ACV+KETO gummies that a friend handed over, she told her the product is great for weight lost because is expensive and it has great reviews!
    When I saw the nutrition fact I told my wife this is almost "pure sugar" as the additional benefits from other nutrients shows 0% of daily requirements.
    My recommendation to my wife was: If you want to use the product and get benefits, BEFORE TAKING THE GUMMY ROLL IT OVER THE SIDEWALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD, THEN WEIGHT LOSS WILL COME! LOL!! 😎
    Now we know more about the Acetic Acid benefits, and have good idea of real food alternatives 🤓 Thank you!

  • @LTPottenger

    Well put. I like acv because it is actually a short chain fatty acid and impossible for the body to store and must be burned immediately. This throws cells in your gut into oxidative phoshphorylation which has many health effects. But this is all ruined when you add in some sugar! I put the powdered form in a capsule, that is the easiest way for me.

  • @jackportugge5647
    @jackportugge5647 2 года назад +1

    Actually, some brands of cider vinegar are quite tasty, more tasty than wine vinegar, but you have to leave it in your mouth for a little while, instead of taking it like a shot of vodka.
    We need to learn to like certain tastes of foods, instead of just craving for the sugar or for the fried fat.
