I do agree that this is a good start to a show. It's has a good production and likable characters but there are many good shows this season so it will be underrated along with Misfit in Demon King Academy. Its a shame sinve I like both shows and this is a good season so far.
Yeeeeeees! I just finished the first episode and I am such a fan! It's the same director as Mob Psycho 100 and you can tell in those end fight scenes. Plus the MC gives me Emma vibes!
I like the world building with the cuts away from the main character to looks into the Fortress and everyday live there. I also like Natsume as a MC she has a nice desgin with her arm being the stand out thing about her.
I was coming off my Re:Zero high when I sat down to watch Deca-Dence. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect and thought I'd 'give it a try' but it quickly drew my attention until I was disappointed that it was already over. I hope it doesn't get lost amongst the giants of Summer 2020 because if episode one is anything to go by - this has great potential! Another great review!
So who else loved the mother of all rocket punches? Not to mention how many parts of the Deca-Dence itself had to move around, connect, and glow in preparation for it.
The is a really unique story. And a breath of fresh air honestly. The director of the show is Yuzuru Tachikawa, the director of Mob Psycho 100, death parade and many more. The dudes a fucking genius.
Director Tachikawa is very talented. He created Death Parade. This show is one of the promising Anime in Japan, so I’m rather surprised to hear it’s underrated. This is a Must-Watch Anime in this season.
Alot of Muv-Luv vibes from this ep lol Is it just me or are alot of Anime Original works centered arround Humanity as the brink of extinction, like Darling in the Franxx or Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress xD
The great animation really caught me by surprise. The concept is pretty cool too. This will be a solid anime; I hope people dont sleep on it
Yeah definitely agree with you loved this episode and l see alot of potential in this. Great review by the way.

Misfit gang rise up! lol
@@teenybopper598 yes... Arnos will wreck some noobs 😁
Deca-Dence and Misfit of the Demon King Academy are this season underdogs.
@@Raul_27 yup totally agree

Surely one of my most favorite this season.. the first episode is really interesting, it makes me want to learn more about the world’s lore/history

The guys behind it is afterall studio NUT, the ones behind yojo senki and flcl alternative.
I feel like this has potential to garner more viewers over the season, at least it wasn't handicapped by Netflix like Great Pretender.

Interested to see how the world came to be like that.
I always love me some good anime originals.
There's an episode out already?!? OMG I must watch it tomorrow!! I'm so glad I came across this otherwise I would've have known it was out yet!!
The job selection thing is similar to the movie City of Ember
(And book) but yeah they are pretty similar
I love the soundtrack for this series, it just adds to the excitement of this show! 😄
Yeah i feel like im going to love this
Well, at least, it's an original anime, you don't have LN or Manga trying to sell you more. But I loved it, refreshing

This looks promising! The animation is very smooth same as the scenery!
Haha good to know that I wasn't the only one who got interested in this show bcoz of its cool poster 😁👍
This is yet another example of why i love watching original anime.
This anime original is awesome:).
This show has potential and I hope to enjoy in its entirety. As long as they don't make a left turn and go so far off track that you are "WTF?".
Alot of Muv-Luv vibes from this ep lol

It kinda like a trigger attack on Titan
I was hoping to see Metroplex
theres 4 well known actors.
the rest are all new
chrome shelled regios
I beg to differ, this anime is not cool... It's FRICKING COOL. Cool is an understatement.
