I draw just to distract myself from anxiety,, so I really didn't think about improving my drawing skills.. but now you're inspiring me.. I feel like drawing more, I feel like putting more of my feelings and emotions in each of my drawings.. thank you so much sir!
@@12345bil12345 Oh yes , I drew to get away from anxiety but then I decided to improve it and I was so in to it that I used to get so anxious about it ( I even got anxiety attacks) so I left to draw and now I am completely lost I forgot how I used to draw that is why I am here on a tutorial
Because of you I've drawn 17 portraits this year. That's more than all the past 25 years combined. Thank you Chommang, you legitimately saved the half of me that loves art.
This is beyond talent and I just want to say that you're my inspiration in continuing my passion in art and I hope that my channel would be successful like yours
Practicing drawing became something stressful for me and I didn't enjoy it anymore. I studied anatomy rigorously and got upset when the body still didn't look right, but your videos have helped me relax and have fun again by teaching how to learn in a more natural and free way. Thank you so much
Same!! I started drawing in 2017 but quit around 2019. It’s just so frustrating. But his videos has been really helpful. He doesn’t tell you to be super attentive to the guidelines or to copy the reference perfectly, instead he teaches you the proper thought process in drawing various things. In other tutorial vids I’ve found, it’s always so rigid how you have to stick so much to their guidelines, and it’s especially stressful when there are numbers involved lol (like the centimeters, inches, etc for the proportions). So it’s frustrating when you try to do your best in doing the guidelines exactly as they do but still end up with an alien pretending to be a human 😩. But thanks to his vids, I’m starting to have fun again. Hopefully this feeling lasts.
Your voice is really soothing. For someone with anxiety, this makes learning a lot easier and relaxing for me. Thank you very much for your effort and time. 🙇♀️ I hope life treats you well. 💐
This is the first video that removed my fears about gesture drawing. No book or video helped me so far. But this one helped me understand the approach in just a minute.
Why is this so relaxing? Even someone who hasn't touched a pencil to draw would start drawing lmao.. Also I like how he explained the anatomy part like that joints really get annoying where all muscles tendons come together it's frustrating without anatomy
Fascinating. This video basically shows us how to draw a human from 0, in a way we can always see where we gone wrong, and what do we need to practice 👏
I have tried many videos like this on RUclips, but so far, this is the only channel where I can replicate or apply what I've watched. You are such a blessing to us. Thank you so much.
You have taught me another way to draw, by not just drawing *for* perfection, but to notice the beauty and the perfection that the line *already possesses.*

I think a lot of people should watch this, I get someone anxious when I draw because Im scared if I make a mistake the world will end and I have nobody to blame but myself. But this video changed that mindset, drawing is a form of expression and an act of love to yourself. Not a dead-end job with a crappy apartment.
Thank you for your videos. Yours are the only ones I've found that actually make sense. And I like that you are so encouraging. Plus you have a nice voice
your voice is warm and inspiring in some ways thank you for your kindness in this video, idk why but I really feel comfortable when watching your video ❤️ it's also helpful, of course~
Thank you so much! I’ve been aimlessly copying an anatomy book to improve my art, because like you said, everyone knows you should know anatomy to improve your art. Thanks to your video, I’ve finally found some direction in where to guide myself. Thank you and it motivates me to draw even more :)
Hey, I just want to thank you so much for these videos. They make art seem so accessible and I love how you can break things down so that everyone can understand and follow along. I wanted to make this video more accessible to people who don't speak English or Korean well enough by adding German subtitles, but I think that option is disabled on this video, or I'm too dumb to find it on my phone. So I was just wondering if you'd want to enable that others can add subtitles so more people can enjoy your work. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for these types of video which are immensly helpful to me.
where have you been all my life sir :') i was drawing with you all day it is now 8pm. i learned so much. I'm also learning korean so this is fantastic ahah thank you!

A small side note but I really like your slogan "Draw freely like a child" hehe, it helps me a lot whenever I feel particularly bad about my drawings xD!
You know I never thought of locating the joints to draw arms and legs, I mean I obviously drew like little circles, but I never thought of it that way. Thanks!
