"The face is the easiest to draw since we see it alot." I guess the reason why hands and feet are so hard is because we don't see them much. To me hands and feet are the most difficult.
I learned hands first before the face, I thought if I couldn’t learn hands then I can’t draw anything. Later on I found out hands are one of the hardest to draw 😒

Me who understand something when they speak and assume and jump with happiness when I know that what I assumed was right.i studied some korean at home in quarantine but dramas helped me so much.but I can't speak it

And even if you don't speak English, you can change it into your native language with automatic translation. :)

I love how he didn't jump straight into teaching the face of the women that was in the Thumbnail.. but he went through alot of detail and structures and position which many youtubers skip alot of times...😌💜

It really hurts me knowing that he is really trying his best to teach us, but seeing people say "DRAW A CIRCLE AND YOUR AN ARTIST!" is already too hurtful. Thank you Chommang for this tutorial! It helped alot!
They just want to be gud as fast as they can... they don't want 'struggle' when u really want to be good at something put some effort to it and be patient and then bam, ur good.

thank you for making this video, the way he explains our mental and thoughts to be perfect in drawing is liberating. Instead of aiming for perfection from the first, it's okay to start from basic, practice, observe and practice again

This can be imported into your drawing style! I don’t usually draw realistically often but this video really helped me with making my faces less awkward and look more proportionate.

I'm practicing as well.. I use to draw when little , but never did again since . Now, I'm back on it ... Not a fond of drawing humans but good practice .

This video has helped me a lot, I've been stuck on a level where I can draw faces pretty well but looks awkward somehow, with the tips on the porpotion you showed in the video, I can say that the issue has heen solved most of the time! Thank you! You seriously taught me more stuff than the things I've learned in my college years.
Edit: just wanna mentioned that I major in graphic design not trad. arts so we did not learn much on actual drawing skills and anatomy.

thank u for this. i really love art but i have aphantasia, so it's hard for me to draw anything without references or me being familiar to the object i want to draw. like what you said in the video, i think with enough practice and patience my skill will definitely improve ^^

I have given up on a lot of hobbies of mine to concentrate on exams and it's been two years for me. Doodles aside, I feel like I lost all my charm in anything i used to like. I can't find the passion for them anymore but drawing remains so close to my heart, it was the one thing that made me glad I existed. i wonder why there is a dislike:( he’s a good teacher, i really learn a lot from him and i also recommend “Brad Colbow” he is also a good teacher. Both Brad and Chommang taught me to draw, i started watching chommang a year ago i really improve a lot. This is so incredibly helpful. I love the down to earth style of teaching that gives such simple and easy way to follow instructions. I appreciate the way that you not just a method but how to start and to grow with that method, it's the most beginner friendly tutorial, showing how a beginner will actually begin. I admire the acknowledgment and correcting of self-dought. I get really frustrated when I watch a tutorial and it's like 6 or 7 other things i need to learn before it but this is the most straight forward way I've seen.

As for me, I used to draw with guidelines but now I don’t and I get better results without the guidelines! Everyone has their own method. The thing is you should practice and draw a lot to understand how you get what you want. Good luck everyone ❤️

Right now I need to study but there are times I literally don't want to, until a few years ago I used to make sketches in class but I never learner properly, it'd be great if I do smth like this when I'm bored.

I'm literally struggling with the lips😭 I just can't get it
Hey! A tip that really helped me was to not "overline" the lip, you know when you draw the line that defines the lip? It looks weird because we dont really have that line, instead, try only drawing the line of the mouth, and just shade the shape of the lips, I got this from the video 10 tips for drawing face by Xabio Arts, it really helped me, check it out!

I followed the exercises in the simple face video and then watched this video until the end and I just drew the best portrait I've ever drawn in my life.
I'm a beginner so it's not great, but I finally feel like I have a starting point and know what to do to improve. Thanks so much!

This video is so instructional, I recently started to practice drawing faces and the features after I spent a good month or two annoyed I couldn't draw circles free hand lol. Now I just use anything round shape to make a circle and practice without wasting time, thanks so much for the video I will follow it when I practice later.

then just make the eyes slightly bigger and make the nose and mouth less noticeable, just draw a dot for a nose and a thin line for the mouth lol and the jawline should be more defined, then boom you got yourself a waifu

You have no idea how this video of yours helped me! I watched this and my drawing skill with face really went from lv.5 to lv.50 in an instant! I thought i was bad with drawing eyes, noses and lips. It turns out the proportions were just off. I applied this technique on any artstyles and it still worked. Thank you so much TuT.
