I needed to see this. I have two school age girls and 9 months old twins. The road has been so rough. Very lonely. Feels lonely at the church after giving birth. I feel like everyone forgot about me already. I was feeling sorry for myself and let that influence my mood (failure, right?). I started to feel like I was not good enough to even go to church. I felt so lonely at the church this weekend. I have a business and other things I study, but oh boy my energy level is at the bottom. Thank you for the great insight about our choices. Victim mentality can creep in so easy and immobilize us in many ways. Rather than becoming a villain, I would like to make a good choice, which is within my control. Thank you for the reminder. I will probably rewatch this video again and again!

I feel this so deeply and I can hear how tired you are. it is very very easy for me to slip into these mentalities especially when the energy is low. I can relate in many ways! Sending so much love your way! Praying that Jesus sends help and community to love and care for you, but if they don't come right away I am praying for His strength to fill you and encourage you to climb your big mountain of the day with His help. We all play the victim and villain at times, but I know with His help we can channel more hero and guide energy 🫶💕

Thank you so much! Ive definitely been in a victim mindset in this season of motherhood after a sad event that's left me feeling very alone and honestly sinking into grief rather than moving forward. Praise Jesus for this message 🙏

So many good points. Thank you. You are speaking deeply to me! What stood out was progress over ‘achieving’. Which direction am I going. Thanks. Hard season over here and wanna make it a good one. Cheers.

Motherhood is sooo tough!!! Especially without any family support or community. It is tough but normalizing toxic mommy culture is so unhealthy. I wish my parents healed instead of "needing that glass of wine/can of beer bc my kids are crazy"
I'm definitely into the victim mindset, it's sad that the very very few ppl in my children's life.. choose not to be in their life. My daughter's godmother hasn't even texted me asking about her or wanting to see her art all in almost 7 months!!? She lives 20 mins away with NO kids. It's hurtful. Then when she sees her she says "woowwww you don't remember your godmother??"

Some people don’t know what it means to be a godmother.. I think that whole idea has been gone for a long time lol people will say oh I’m gonna be your kids godmother/father then only see them once in a blue moon! That’s why if someone said they were gonna be my child’s godmother I’m gonna make sure they know what that means!

@emmakate6518 At the time of my daughter's birth she was very involved in our lives I thought. And now my daughter is 3 and she doesn't even ask about her at all. In our religion it is required to have a godmother/father at birth.
