    Do you struggle finding the centre of a crease dent?
    Crease dents can be tricky to fix and its often hard to find the centre line of the dent, the deepest part. For this repair I used a combination of glue pulling and pushing from behind and I also share with you my tips for using a line board to identify the centre of the dent. Let me know your thoughts!

    Hello, you are doing great job, I have a question what kind of glue sticks do you use for fixing?

    • @LearnPDROnline
      @LearnPDROnline  29 дней назад

      Thank you. I use the clear high strength glue from BLE Tools - bletools.com/collections/glue/products/10-x-high-strength-clear-glue-sticks

    Excellent work, I am unable to tell where the dent was. What about vehicles that are much older, like from the 60's, 70's and 80's that might have thicker sheet metal? Do you use different tools? Thanks

    • @LearnPDROnline
      @LearnPDROnline  Месяц назад

      Thank you! The process is similar but yes I may change the tools slightly on older cars, as you say the metal is usually thicker so when I am pushing, I may use the same tool but have to work harder, or at least apply more pressure. The other thing to consider with older cars is the paint. I do not usually use glue pulling at all on classic cars, the paint was different then and can be easier to crack or pull away from the panel. Using heat helps with this but the risk is much higher compared to modern water based paints.

      Yes, PDR can also be carried out on Aluminium panels

    Will this technique works on the edge of the quarter panel? I've contacted a PDR specialist, and told me that the area on my car's dent has an obstruction behind the panel, so it is impossible to push the dents from the back.

    • @LearnPDROnline
      @LearnPDROnline  2 месяца назад +1

      Difficult to answer without seeing the dent damage or knowing your vehicle but in theory yes, glue pulling can be used when there is no access to the area inside, however, if the damage goes across the edge of a panel, frame or bodyline it is often trickier or not possible to fully remove with PDR. It may be worth getting a couple of other quotes to see if other PDR techs local to you agree

      @@LearnPDROnline yeah! I watched your other video titled 'Zero Access Dent Repair | Paintless Dent Removal' (ruclips.net/video/f3wj8u52UtA/видео.html). I have a similar issue, but my dent starts at the edge near the rear tire and extends about 24 inches in a straight line.

      In theory the same result could be achieved with glue pulling from the outside only, however, it would likely take longer to achieve the same result, although if I'm being honest I do not think I would have got it as clean if I were glue pulling only
