The dogs backing vocals tied it together so well y’all are rude 😤😤😤 y’all are gonna be sorry when the two of them get casted as every role for the next show
@@brissa1x467 sorry to disappoint... this is actually just a showcase of my singing teachers students. I’m still yet to find a theatre group with dogs 🤧
The note on “I’m donee was flat as hell. The rest was great. Also get those dogs out of the building it’s unprofessional and people are allergic or scared of them. It makes me so mad they are just allowed everywhere. It was distracting
OMG!!!!!!!!! You’re SO GOOOOODDDD😱😱😱😱😱😁😁😁 watch your hands tho. Try to vary what actions and when you do them. Make the actions you do make clear and purposeful. Awesome job!!
did anyone else notice the dog and/or cat flopping around like a sea otter under the piano? I thought it really added the needed emotions to the performance, gave it a lot of depth. Great job, dog and/or cat, and great job person who performed it, you're a really talented singer
This is really lovely work! You've got great control over your voice and you seem to be singing in a healthy, supported way. I saw another comment regarding your hands -- here's a tip I learned in my MFA Acting program. When you're singing a song, the music is the only "must happen" part of the piece. You have to show up and sing the notes correctly. Every other part of the performance should be layered on top to build character, reveal something about the narrative or create something for the audience. Think of gestures with your face and hands like dessert after a meal, the meat & potatoes of your voice and the song are 100% enough without anything extra. When I build gestures into a piece I always ALWAYS ask myself "Does this need to happen? Does it add anything important to help the character get where they need to be by the end of the piece?" You're well on your way. You have a bright future ahead as a performer, best of luck! PS - your ability to keep going w/ those howling doggies in the back proved your inner focus, hold on to those moments because they're super important. A teacher one said: "Hamlet still has to say his words even when the set pieces are falling down around him," you did that well!
you sounded amazing but (this isn’t hate) I don’t think u should mimic the lyrics with your hands. I think u should showed emotion while singing the lyrics. Try to move around more and make perposeful movements in stead of standing still and fiddling with your hands. I could see the emotion in your eyes, but not really your face. more facial expressions. your voice sounded amazing though! And overall you did amazing.
@@amitydurran5996 What they're talking about is called "indicating" (IE; your hands "ironed" out your dress when you mentioned ironing out your creases) and its generally something to be cognizant of and avoid; your body motions should progress the story of the song, but not mimic the lyrics). However, I think its a stretch to say you WEREN'T showing expression with your face, because I definitley saw something in your eyes. I'd work on stillness and letting those beautiful eyes do most of the work. You have a gorgeous voice too!
One thing I learned from my vocal instructor is to not act out things as you are singing, but a little bit before as if to spark an idea for your next lyric.
Should they decide to scale the sets back, make them easier to travel with, (Yeah, they'd lose the House set but they'd still have their talented cast to fill the gap.) the casting directors need to look at this girl as a contender for Lydia because she didn't even miss a beat when the puppies were acting up. Shows that she can keep focused on her performance and not get distracted.
This is Truely beautiful , were You always Able to hit those high notes or did it take a long time to learn? I love singing but I cant hit high notes ;((
JuliAesthetic VLOG Thank you! And no, definitely not. The first notable belting song I did was probably seventeen from heathers the musical. At first belting the high more was difficult but after a few attempts I was able to get it. Vocal ranges can definitely grow and it becomes effortless once you figure out what muscles to engage. Keep persisting! You can hit it! ❤️💪
i can't stop laughing at the dog in the back
SAMEEEE :DDDD
The dogs backing vocals tied it together so well y’all are rude 😤😤😤 y’all are gonna be sorry when the two of them get casted as every role for the next show
Jasper Damian double cast for bruiser 😂
Wow what a rude dog to interrupt your beautiful singing. lmao
So rude!! 😂

Iris Eclipse thank you so much 🥰
Usually id say nobody could do Sophia's unique voice justice, but you did so well!! Please keep singing forever!!
Sky Swalls that is so nice! That means the world to me! Thank you 🥰❤️
This was amazing but she doesn’t really have the same looseness as Sofia’s,it’s not like she’s a carbon copy of Sophia is all I’m saying
really, you shouldn’t copy sophia’s technique because its quite unhealthy.
john laurens yah,the screamo stuff can be quite unhealthy but the voice cracks are completely fine
[Insert edgy band names] i meant her belting technique. it could really mess up your voice. as is it could already be messing up hers.
Her: “Mama won’t you send a sign?”
* dogs start barking intensely on cue *
Me: 👀
Okay the singing was amazing but the dog in the back...😂😂😂😂😂
I’ve realized at least once a day I have a new dead mom cover recommended

The note on “I’m donee was flat as hell. The rest was great. Also get those dogs out of the building it’s unprofessional and people are allergic or scared of them. It makes me so mad they are just allowed everywhere. It was distracting
