- The E-Pace is Jaguar's first ever small SUV. Under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 246HP & mated to a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission. Jaguar wanted to take their F-Type sports car and based the exterior design from that. On the inside you will find a sporty interior with plenty of tech and driver engagement. @@red_wave7634 multiple garage visits to adjust cooling fan speed, parking sensors .. mostly software problems. Parts are very expensive and cost of repair is high. To summarize, have good warranty and insurance. The car is pretty and fun to drive though.

Great review! Have you ever thought about a Zonk count for each car you review? Would be interesting to see a Zonk comparison between vehicles and for me the fewer Zonks the better the vehicle! Simple but effective.

Very nice looking vehicle and the price is right, especially for a Jaguar. I am just thinking about that reliability. I hope the new Jaguars last longer than the old one did otherwise the only way I would think about getting this car would be leasing it. BTW the area of fake vents in the front of the car would have been perfect places for fog lights. I hope those are options. Thanks again for the video!

I have the 2018 Red E-Pace First Edition. I bought it off the showroom floor. The majority of all your zonks missing are in my car. The moon roof, red ball point stitching in the leather, plush velour roof, heated & cooling seats, rear USB for passengers, etc... to name a few. I love my "Baby Jag"!
WOW!!! So did yours come with this and they changed it in the newer ones OR were they upgrades you got?? I would want ALL you got in yours!! wonder how much it would push the price up???

Love the e-pace and f-pace models however I've heard Jags being huge money pits so would it make more sense to lease it over financing?

Why does everyone hate fake vents so much? They have functional ones and sometimes it just looks better with them there and sometimes too many aren't great for performance. I'd rather have the fake vents on this car than nothing there. Just my opinion

Love the colors on this vehicle. $46k for a compact SUV with this many zonks is too much. You’re paying for the Jaguar 🐆 name. No heated or ventilated seats is a deal breaker for me. Here in Minnesota you need all the heat you can get. 🥶 Looks like it has a nice ride. You’ll pick up more chics in a jag than let’s say a Hyundai but if you’re married and you’re life is over 😢you can get many more options. You’ll save around $12,000 to boot. Great video again from the car czar. 👍

If I was in the market for a Jaguar SUV, I’d be shopping the F Pace instead. If smartly optioned, you get more room, better style and more power for maybe $5-10k more.
Honest review. Half the price is for the name. That comment on the back hatch is fantastic. Jaguar materials shouldn’t be cheaper than a VW.

I got me a fully tricked & blacked out E-PACE R Dynamic HSE P250 Farallon Pearl Black which is actually navy blue, but only visible in direct sunlight. To anyone thinking of getting an F/E-PACE, go for it. Even the Audi, Porsche & Tesla drivers take notice when you roll by😂
It is a really sharp looking crossover, but for the price the materials are not top notch. Good review as always!

Thank you Very much for showing me the difference of the F Pace and the E Pace. I LOVE the F Pace in RED!! I like the price of the E Pace MUCH BETTER but Gosh it surely is a difference in the inside and even trunk . They cheaped out as its noticeable. NO SUN ROOF???? WTF!! I'm gonna need a Panoramic sun roof on a $50k luxury vehicle. I have a X5 4.8is in red now and I LOVE IT. However it's getting too expensive for maintenance . I have gotten my $$$ worth. I expect vehicles that expensive to last.

I don't see many of these on the road. I guess more are either going for the F-Pace for the power or the Ranger Rover Evoque for the nicer interior. There are better appointed options at this price point like an Acura RDX, Mazda CX-5 Signature, among others. The E-Pace is nice vehicle but this cub still has some growing up to do.

Sorry, I'm a Volvo girl. Used to be a Saab driver- my last Saab had AWD and needed very expensive repairs which out it in the garage for months at a time.
It is a gorgeous car on the outside. I agree, the inside could be a little more impressive.

Huh? It comes with heated and ventilated seats and has one of the most beautiful sunroofs in the market. It's literally 1 peice of glass across the entire roof! Feels like there is no roof.

Why didn't they make it a hybrid? Not very good gas mileage per km, both city and Hwy, after all we need to make vehicles as eco-friendly using less gasoline and reduce our carbon emissions. Adding a USB port and he didn't mention if it had a Ax connection. Or if there was tilted steering wheel?

Holy ZONKS Batman! Beautiful car but at 3 min into the video we see the wheels up close and the discs look a little rusty/dirty. Kinda drags down the appearance of an otherwise great looking wheel. Not being a car guy I'm just curious, is there something an owner could do to clean that up?
It's actually just surface rust from sitting outside. With some driving it would rectify itself.

I'm not a Jaguar kinda of a guy. Except for th XE S. However the E-pace looks ok especially with the red on black. I agree with the engine compartment, too much black.What Jaguar should do is add some exterior color match to portion of the engine cover. So in this case some red on the cover would be nice. The same with the interior, add some red sticking may break up the sea of black. But for $46 grand is kinds sounds like Jaguar is trying to tap into the younger market. I just wish they would have found some way to bring the some the higher end models into the vehicle.

fair review. I bought the 200SE five months ago, and coming from a large 4x4 down, this has so far been the best car Ive ever bought. I drive daily in dynamic and manual shifting because if im buying a spec up $60,000 aud car, i want to experience it. I took the black pack (remove the chrome) and 20in and panoramic roof, because like you i felt a little dark, so i open up every time automatically and let the light in. We have powered tailgate and makes life easier to push a button.
Lots of little hidden logos on the car for that little touch with the "cub" (the baby Jaguar)... yes i would change a few things, like buy the paddle shifts, but I love the vehicle, the drive. Jump on facebook and ask questions to us that own them.

the better deal still has to come. Very well equiped luxury SUV with cool looks and at ONLY 34000 euros. Fully comparable to BMW and to Mercedes but at least 15000 euros cheaper. Only for smart buyers.
