I own a 2020 e-pace S-dynamic P250, and Jaguar addressed some of the issues that you mentioned, like the info system which now supports Apple and Android. Mine also has all of the driver assist controls, but the msrp on mine was only $52k, and I purchased it for $39k with 6k miles. It was a loaner car that the dealer had discounted to sell, but it came with the full warranty and service plan. It's not a car you can jump right in and figure everything out in 30 minutes. It also takes a while to learn how to drive because it does have more power than you would expect and it drives like a sports car, not an SUV. I test drove those other cars that you mentioned and they weren't to my liking at all. The only SUVs I liked that compared to the Jag were the Porsche Macan and Cayenne Turbos, but they listed for over $100k. I love my Jag E-pace!!
So ... to sum up: head-scratching product features, less-than-adequate product quality, below-average value for money, but it looks great. Sounds like a compact SUV worthy of the Jag name.
It’s okay to have a couple of CUVs in your lineup to sustain curious consumers in the showrooms, but they shouldn’t get too carried away as Land Rover is their SUV CUV brand and Tata having two SUV brands, one would cancel the other out since they’d be competing against each other in an already crowded segment.. Yes I know Land Rover has a more rugged mindset whereas Jaguar is track focused but they’ll both likely spend more time at Starbucks and Zaxby's than the Mohave Desert and Zmax drag strip..
Nice review. Just wonder if randomly quoting prose comes naturally with the jaguar. I agree that the car look great. Even look comfy and relaxing when you was sitting there going over the cons. Think I might consider leasing if I can get a good deal in October/novem
Great Review! It’s sad that luxury lacks practical nuances. Such As Android Auto & Apple Car Play. Pedal Shifter. And the cost. Although it’s a Jaguar. But sometimes Name isn’t enough. Better hopes for the next model.
Oh, Lynn! Thank you so much for the correct pronunciation! For example, the TFL channel will drive one bonkers with using the cringy, "Jag-War" version.....but I still really like TFL.
It's sad when a Mazda CX-5 has a an interior much more sophisticated than a Jaguar SUV for a fraction of the cost. And now you can get a turbo charged CX-5.
The next iteration should be better. This thing is heavier than the F-Pace which makes zero sense as it's smaller. Jag infotainment is diabolical, seriously even Lexus is probably better!...maybe. I reckon they'll fix all this stuff in the next redesign but for now, with the 2020 Audi Q3 gunning for this market, i'd go with the XC40 if it was my money.
It's worth it just to spend $10K more (before getting $11K of tax deductions and rebates) and go for the I-Pace, World Car of the Year, World Car Design of the Year and World Green Car of the Year.
There's noticeable turbo lag in 2019??? I'd buy a Signature level Mazda CX7 instead, for way less money and greater durability and reliability. Resale on Jags is abysmal too.
Cx-7 is no longer an option in 2019...cx-5 or cx-9...a cx-5 signature would be a nice alternative. I guess it depends on how many country club points you want.
I think the small 5-seat sporty luxury premium performance SUV is just an oxymoron that only Porsche only just barely pulls it off; and it’s only with their immodest pricing of the Porsche Cayman and 911 that when you see their SUV’s wearing the Porsche badge you start to think bargain. Couple that with the air tight grip of the upper middle class soccer mom market between Benz, BMW, Lexus, and Volkswagen; Jaguar/Land Rover has to fight for scraps with Alfa, Maserati, and Volvo for fear of going downmarket and competing against the like of Infiniti, Acura, Cadillac, Lincoln, and Buick.
I agree with you, but to most American car buyers, luxury is more than just interior quality. To the buyers who only care about badges, its about country of origin and the prestige, heritage, presence, pedigree, lineage, “je ne sais quoi” of a name. Rich people don’t name their children Kia or dream about owning a Chevy Sonic
... Will/would she say the same thing 12 months down the road with the white interior - blue jeans, hot summer days, post run/workout sessions, kids soccer/playground excursions. I guess one would need their detailer on speed dial.
dygardion 91 all car companies are poor on naming. It's just stupid. Where does their inspiration come from? Oh and um why is cars getting more compact when people are getting fatter...look at kids...they're all SUPER FAT.
I had an MY18 and it had Carplay and Android Auto. Someone at the Austrian factory didn't tick that smartphone pack on the built sheet. Dealer can retrofit if needed.
... You mean rubbish, right? Definitely a less than stellar effort on jaguar's part. Kinda makes a mini jcw clubman look like a good deal if you want that 'English' motoring experience.
That opening was brilliant. I watched it three times before proceeding to the rest of the video

Thank you for sharing. By any chance and you share where you bought it from? Looking to get a great deal as well

Nothing better than starting your monday with Lyn review
Jaguar really needs to step up their interior design and quality game, feels like they're 4 years behind their competitors
Look at the XJ
Victor yup
Apple CarPlay and android auto are available! Your press car was not updated to have it...
Honestly the best looking SUV
Love her sense of humor.
She's as fake as a $2 street walker

My mom owns one and this can’t be any more true💀
I liked the rotary gear selector. It's interesting.
There should be no faux aluminum on a car like that
liberal

Just wait a couple of years and it will be like 25k. Jaguar is known for their depreciation.
There's tons of room in the back for borrowed paintings and antique silverware.
Thanks for the detailed review - excellent! 🙌💯👍
CarPlay is available in the 2019 E-Pace and 2018 models can have it updated into the car

Howdy, great review!
I remember when you went over the 2019? 2020 highlander sum like thaty
Great review

Haha. Great opening.
I see it as a subcompact suv anyone else?
Save several grand now and probably much more later... and get an Acura.
Calvin Hikes Couldn’t agree more, the new RDX is bigger inside and out, sportier, more reliable, better quality, and still under $50k fully loaded
Macan or Stelvio are much better.

Who did her blush? Looks like she went 3 rounds with Tyson!
Accent the cheek bones, shouldn't look like a couple of SHINERS!
Which one is better between jaguar e pace with ranger evoque ?
Starting to get sick of 2.0T cars/crossovers...
What happened on her neck?

a 2001 Chrysler has garage door opener buttons, but this car doesn't. hilarious
Do I get a heart from the kbb crew for being first?

daz my car but white! :D
and haz bmw x7
saying O-pace makes it sound like she's moaning.
Lol

Money pit
No Android auto.. 😩😩😩
Rather have a CRV
the stuff she looking for no one really uses.
5 foot 4 n change... taking a jab at Rebecca? 😏
Looks like an ix35 from hyundai but not as good interior
Looks like 2012 Tucson
A spare wheel, a tyre is no good
Please tell me there is no FWD
All awd
@@esteban75lover23 Good. As all SUVs should be

On what planet is VOLKSWAGEN better/more luxury than ACURA or INFINITI??
I agree with you, but to most American car buyers, luxury is more than just interior quality. Sleepy What I’m saying is that Volkswagen is comparable to the likes of Honda and Nissan, whereas Acura and Infiniti are genuinely luxury brands.
What I'm confused about - Lyn says "gorgeous interior!" and then complains about its "fit and finish" and "flimsy plastic".
... Will/would she say the same thing 12 months down the road with the white interior - blue jeans, hot summer days, post run/workout sessions, kids soccer/playground excursions. I guess one would need their detailer on speed dial.
Poor naming on behalf of jaguar 🤦🏻♂️
The exterior is bland and the interior seems less nice than a corolla
dygardion 91 all car companies are poor on naming. It's just stupid. Where does their inspiration come from? Oh and um why is cars getting more compact when people are getting fatter...look at kids...they're all SUPER FAT.
a jersey plate in cali. ok
Huh?
I’d take the Volvo over this
Nahh! I'll pass!
A-nnoying

It's trash.

Never buy a Jag
Because?... I have had 2 Jags. Explain.
... True, always lease. I'm waiting for leasing to be the only way to get a new car. Buying will be a used car only transaction.
This is for sure Jaguars worst car in many years. Looks weak, is weak, is unnecessary...
i am literally the first one, i guess americans dont like jags
Oh Lord... Love the channel. Love Micah. Lyn is an annoying, fake, little troll
It is not from England, it is from India.
No. It’s owned by an Indian company that provides money. Still built and designed in England as always.
Made in china
Summary of the video: Jaguar is doomed! Every single detail says this, even the names of their cars are confusing!
